Helpful! Thank you. Going to try to replace tires on my 1980 Vespa P200E.

Great video. Thanks. I'm doing that work right now. My rims were showing some rust outside so I thought it would be nice to disassemble them to remove rust and repaint. Easy so say but not to do.... The second half rim has so much rust "glued" on tire rubber that I had to go to a tire shop. Than spend 3 hours just to scrub rust and than applying anti rust paint inside and outside. Only tomorrow will put them together but I'm thinking it's better to apply some silicon on the edge of the tire so it can return better to it's place on the rimm because with the paint I think it will be tighter to tire return to position.

Hey Paulo, yeah they can definitely rust badly with age and can be very difficult to remove. Once fresh paint is on though, they normally slip on fine and last well thereafter

@@mooversspeedshop Hi Lance. Thanks for replying. :) Here in Portugal it's been raining for a while and atmosphere is fairly wet, so imagine what I've done to really dry well the paint.... Saw a paint factory video some time ago and replicated one detail in my kitchen. Put the rims on the oven for 1 hour at 45ºC ventilated. After that they got out just warm, the paint super dry and good looking. Bye and thanks. (P.s. I've done this 24 hours after painting. I had the sensation that paint capture my fingerprints even after 24h.)
