I'm not completely sure if this has been done before, but here's my suggestion: each host selects a character description from a property of their choice and reads it to the drawer without including anything that gives away the property, genre, or character name. They draw a character based only on the description in the style that they think suits it. Hopefully results in fun genre twists.

She drew a cute little rabbit head and torso, then realized she didn't want to draw a horse body, so she gave it a human body on its hands and knees with the rabbit torso coming out where the neck should be. Now THAT is an abnormal centaur.
