Well I've been running equipment for over 30 years I'm a finish grader operator my 3 man crew has always had my 12 H grader,jd 450 H dozer,a roller, and a jd 544 h loader when I wind row my finish rock we pick it up with the loader well my loader broke all I could get was rt 60 asv skid steer,I've never ran a skid or had any experience with one I can honestly say I was impressed with it a little slower than than the loader but it was impressive,it even worked better for cutting subgrade in the corner parking spots,I plan on getting one for sure it's changed my view and opinion on these little machines
More glass in the cab might seem nice, but if you've ever worked in a CTL you know that the loader arms block a majority of the side visibility, particularly your ability to see the tracks unless the arms are raised ... and it's not good practice to move around with a loaded bucket up in the air. More glass will result in more heat inside the cab. Great if you work in colder weather, but not so much in the summer heat, especially in a unit without AC. The amount of sunlight that will enter into the cab will also affect visibility and even operator fatigue. long days in the sun do wear on you. Some of the other features seem like an effort has been made to update their products so as to make them more comparable to similar features in other brands. No doubt many of these changes are simply attempts to offer features that other brands have had for a while. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see them making an effort to improve their product. I just wonder whether these changes would have happened had ASV not been purchased by Yanmar. The question in my mind is Yanmar the driving force behind this? And if so, is Yanmar updating product lines because they believe doing so will make ASV more competitive against brands like CAT, Bobcat, Kubota, Takeuchi, JCB, Case, Deere and others? And finally, what will Yanmar do with ASV if as I suspect, they find that their market share remains flat against these other brands (even with these updates)? I for one hope that ASV remains viable, but I don't think these updates really do a lot to sway buyers in this market. It's a very competitive already, and the competition (at least some of the other brands) is continuously improving its line up to the point where these changes seem insignificant.
Disagree about the glass. I got 5 cats top of the range and with aircon it's no problem and you can see enough of the tracks with boom down. I wish cat got rid of the mesh on the windows as they are rubbish to keep clean and then you can't see anything !. I also wish asv were available in the UK as would 100% try them

Great insights.
@actionsportser Talk about a Debbie downer. Man, it seems like a very well designed, engineered machine.
Its swayed me...

I’d like to see one pushing dirt to fill a bucket. And also the ac surely has to be more hd. But looks awesome
Will you ever make the door go over head?
I want to buy this machine, but I can't buy it in Korea.
