We took it slow this week - a bit of walking, a bit of quality time at home and a moment of reflection for me. Changes can be quite challenging in life.

Dearest Elizabeth, saying goodbye to a beloved dog is truly one of the hardest goodbyes. It’s brutal and hurts deeply. You are wise to have taken a bit of time. The first time I took our other dog to the beach after saying goodbye to his sister I just sat down and cried and cried and let the wind and smell of the ocean soothe me. I understand your pain. To lose your treasured goat (I’m sure she had a beautiful life with you) and the move etc… it’s a lot to handle. You seem to be finding joy again. Thank you so much for sharing as I think it helps others to know that there is joy even after deep grief. Bless you and yours.

Dear Elizabeth, it takes as long as it takes when you are grieving a beloved pet....they are our children and we suffer real pain at their loss. Our cat Katie was sick much more than was evident... We had to put her to rest so she wouldn't suffer any longer. It's been a year and for no reason at all I feel her loss as if it was yesterday. Your blackie was loved and adored by many. Allow yourself the grace needed to move along in this difficult journey. Your heart will heal in time but you may always feel an emptiness. God bless you🙏🙏🙏🙏😥😥❤️

So many big changes can really knock your equilibrium. So important to listen to your inner self and your body, to take time for yourself and your family, to find your inner peace after the turmoil. It is times like this that you need your support system, your family and your friends. It’s okay to say I’m not okay. Time is a healer as it softens the hurt and allows the good memories to surface. So glad you are feeling life is coming back to a bit of normal. ❤ It’s so lovely to see the activities you and your girls do, children need to experience boredom as it expands their minds as well as their resilience. My parents always told us bored people are boring go and find somethings to do. 😊

She was Boo-dha when she was an angel, and sometimes she was Boo-dica when she got a notion to wreak havoc, ears back, on anything and everything in her path. Two minutes later she was, again, just my cuddley Boo. I am a subscriber since your launch, having known of you from following Nicki Positano. You seem down to earth and I appreciate and enjoy your easy way with how you appear to approach your busy life. Dear Elizabeth, this month I lost 4 of my fravorite little mates. (that's what we call best friends in Australia) They were all doggies that belonged to my friends. I was very close to all of them and they gave me and their owners such love and joy. Two of them were over 15 years old. They had each earned their doggie wings in heaven for the uncoditional love they gave. I can feel the sadness in your heart for both you furry friends. You are a true carer for the important things in life your family and animals. Isend you stregth from my heart to yours. You will see them both again one day. Elisabeth, I am so sorry for the passing of your dog and your goat. I know how it feels. My dog passed just over 3 years ago and I still cry for her. She was almost 15 years old and we had a happy life together. When I see videos such as this, it brings it all back.

I’m so sorry to hear about your goat chip😢 it’s such a heart break they are family. It took me yrs to get over my beloved husky Shiloh. Still today as my ❤️ Has healed not a day goes by I don’t think of her. Your love for animals gets a huge thank you from me. For your unconditional love you gave to your dog and chip. I know they are loving you for the life you gave tgg by ‘em that’s why they live so long. Time will heal but you never forget. Again thank you for loving animal’s the way you do. At that time, I knew you as a friend of Nicky. Little did I know that you are also a very talented you tube creator - and a beautiful, caring person. I grew up on a farm in land-locked Alberta Canada. But I also appreciate my beautiful nature - and I share your deep love of animals. I wish you lived here - I think we could be the best of friends! So sorry you lost your swt doggy and goat...I love how you picture your sweet goat happy in her field eating. It's always so hard when they leave us because we love them so deeply. My heart goes out to you and your family....Plant some munches for your goats in honor of your sweetly departed and some flowers in honor of your Blackie.. That's what I've done after the death of my cats. Or if plantings not your thing do something in the honor of them.. It really helps.. This is my first video I've always enjoyed seeing you on Positano Diaries and was happy to hear you have a channel too!!!
