This was an awesome vlog!! So much going on, from Rosie climbing trees like the goats and Indy. The blooms so early, it is spring in Italy!! Leni's movie was so amazing. I hope we see another one soon. Seeing Carlo and Pepe showering the girls with love. And Elizabeth, what you describe about encouraging the girls to make observations in nature is a tool of Dialectal Behavior Therapy. This is to be present minded which is scientifically proven to be very therapeutic. Your parenting is very instinctual and great. Love from Canada!!

This was a sweet video. Leni and Rosi are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, to travel to different countries, to learn to speak different languages and to have such beautiful parents. I totally agree with your views about spending time together in the outdoors. I used to love going on walks with my father, talking about life, sharing stories, discussing the world about us, any season and weather. I really feel this is what connected me to my father and vice versa. From doing this with my father I paid it forward and did it with my son, getting very muddy and always coming home with new sticks to be placed by the front door. 😊

Our new granddaughter now plays with our daughter’s old Sylvania family. Such a great toy with all their accessories and family members. I hope she grows up creative like your daughters.

I used to take my children on nature walks at least once a week. Mountains, ocean beaches, rivers, and lakes were the usual destinations. We brought guidebooks and art supplies to identify, draw, and label something interesting.
