Thought I knew everything I needed to know about NINA, but this video showed me a few settings I needed to change/reconsider.

Thank you for preparing this 3 part series,. You have done a succinct and clear easy to follow videos and you have a pleasant demeanor while demonstrating direct to the point line to follow for a newbie to NINA to get up and running. I watched all 3 parts and will keep them as my on line 'manual'..

    Exceptional mount !

The ASIAIR is basically an Astroberry designed for ZWO astro systems. You can buy a Pi 4 for about $80 and do the same thing with the added benefit of being able to use a much wider selection of equipment. Personally, I prefer to use a mini-PC with N.I.N.A and control the entire rig using VNC on my desktop in my home.

This is very timely for me. I have been an ASIAIR user since I began to get interested in astrophotography, but with a dome in my near future, I figured I should try NINA and all that. I have the Quieter PC all set up with it and have spent the past several months trying to get NINA to work as seamlessly as the ASIAIR does, so far without any success. I had a ton of issues with my focus in NINA, while the ASIAIR focuses without trouble. I also have been noticing that the lag in controlling the Quieter2 PC from my Mac in the house is getting worse and worse, and I have no idea why.

When you have D/L Sky Atlas and Offline Sky Map, where do you place the files, once they have been unpacked.

Grüezi, Thank you for your présentation. I use various EOS Canon cameras. NINA only produces images in grayscale? What do I have to pay attention to when making the settings?

What kind of mount you are using?

  • @Astronurd

Asi air is so much easier. I use it with my PC and not my mobile or tablet.
