UP 5127 was a very cool one for me. Different seeing all boxcars followed by all EMPTY center beams. Fast moving train too. Great video thanks!

I’ve noticed on the stack trains, many of the cars only carry 1 container, is that because the 1 is heavy enough to go by itself and that 2 would be overweight?

That I'm not too sure about. It may have to do with the container traffic

I also heard that the railroads are seeking permission to add length to some trains! Is that true? Do they really want 3 mile long trains?

Oh yes and they already run trains that are 3 miles sometimes longer
