  • We've been working on updating a few areas of the LEGO city! In today's video, we add a few details to the boatyard and campground, including a custom bridge for our ravine, and MILS plating the Treehouse and Winnie the Pooh sets. We also build and completely finish our farm! These details are looking fantastic! Next up is finishing the rest of the campground.

    Your dedication is unbelievable. You must spend so long each day building, how you manage to make content at the same time, I do not know. Keep up the amazing work.

    I love the way the farm is coming together. I would add a wind/solar power generation and a fuel tank to the farm. They might help transition into the port a little better. I also think the stone path to the tree house would look great.

    This is looking neat. Love the pumpkin patch that's something I've never seen in any LEGO city. I'd say keep the trees and other things the way they are as you don't want to overdo it with the forestry otherwise you won't have room for characters. The farm itself is pretty good. Great work on this.

    It’s looking great, I think the barn needs more windows and you should put a horses stable inside the barn so that they’re not just standing in a pen. Everything looks great! I can’t wait to see how it all looks when it’s finished!

    I like that boat ramp it actually looks pretty good and very simple...I think it would be good to have a gate at the entrance to the boatyard with a little booth and a guy who raises and lowers the gate

  • @glup128
    @glup128 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For the ramp you could make a normal half mils road plate and just have it at an angle to give it a more natural incline.

    For the road that slants you can put 2 2x2 plates (or more than 2) on one side put Toby sides down on a baseplate and it will be on an angle (that can easily be adjusted) and it doesn’t stretch or damage the LEGO elements.

  • @jasonyork7915

    The new farm and campground look amazing! I love the crop fields and animal pasture. The barn look really good as well. The sliding doors makes on more life like in my opinion. And although the details around the Winie the Poo set and tree house set are simple, I really liked the way it turned out either way. Great job Jordan and José!

    Bricksie, you know I absolutely love your builds, but if I may both offer a small critique, and ask a question at the same time? I've recently viewed a lego city that used roads built with 1x3 Dark Grey bricks in SNOT Build. Now I know that you know that building roads in SNOT means you can add nice lines and such, but the one thing I have noticed that can be done and not a ton of folks seem to realize it...is that if you use the 1x3 Dark Grey bricks in snot form, you are able to add smoothed inclines and declines of road to your city! Now not as fast and sharp an incline as you have with that road plate leading up to your port concrete area, but more like nice and long and low angle inclines (I've only seen this person's city, and not tried this myself to see how step you could go, although I imagine not very.) However, it's so smooth and clean, and can be steep enough for a highway entrance and exit ramps, or long and low inclines/declines leading up to a slightly higher hill range in a city, like you second level! So I have to ask, and I wonder...Have you seen this 1x3 Dark Grey SNOT designed roads? Have you considered ever using it in your city to add just that cleaner road system appearance? I am curious, but I am sure you have your reason, and I am curious of them because there may be something I am not considering as to why one may not wish to do this in their city? Thanks for reading, and as always, Blessing on you and your Family, and upcoming twin chitlins! Take care for now!

    I think I would make an inset gravel road from the existing gravel road to the bridge and then after the bride make it like the existing gray tiles you have by the treehouse. The farm looks great, but I think you might need to rescue your sheep that has fallen in to the mud with the pigs.

    The empty spot where the farm went, didn't look that big, but you got a lot in there and it looks good.
    Put the skunk in the campground, that will bring back a childhood memory of camping and a 'spraying' skunk walking through the camp site one evening.
