In 1982 after wandering from the Lord for many years I was attending a Assemble of God church. I had been going there several years hearing about speaking in tongues. A 16 yr old teen girl was baptized with gift on March 16 in evening service. I thought that must be the best Birthday gift ever. My birthday was he following May 5th. It a Wed. My husband asked me if I wanted to celebrate my day that nite or go out Tuesday night instead. I told him no, lets do Tues so I can be in church Wed. Pastor called for anyone wanting special prayer during praise & worship time for anyone wanting a miracle that nite! Of course I beat it to the front and praising God and I s getting very tired. A friend told me to not give up because she could see God all over me. Net thing I knew I got a cramp in my throat/tongue and seconds later the gift of tongues began flowing! Yes! Very best gif ever. My husband had bought me a cassette player and a couple of Cathedral Quartet tapes and not did that make it very special. I've been a blessed fan of this group every since! That was my 39th birthday! I will be 81 next month and was asked Baptist! MY SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, IS STILL BLESSING ME BEYOND MEASURE!! Do not put off asking Jesus into you life!! JESUS IS THE ONLY TRUE, LIVING GOD AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!! ASK FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS, REPENT, AND ASK HIM INTO YOUR HEART TODAY!!
