Kevin seems to Always be s Calm and Cool and Im sure it’s Not just on Video. I bet you need to occasionally take Kevin’s Pulse to make sure he’s still Breathing. 😬
Scary moments, glad no one was hurt. Accidents on the farm can happen so fast it’s unbelievable, it can be anything. God Bless your family and stay safe.
Farming and Crab Fishing can be two (2) of the Most Dangerous Occupations. Generally Speaking, there are NO Second Chances. Your Family Lives Safety. 👍🙏
Hello from Southeastern Wisconsin. It was looking a little sketchy there for a moment with the tractor teetering on only two wheels. I was also freaking out with Kevin standing so close to the tightly torqued chain. Glad to see the situation was safely rectified without damage or injuries. Have a safe and productive work week!
First time I can remember Kevin not smiling through a disaster. That had its scary moments and yeah Ronda chains can break and be dangerous.. God was with you all in getting the tractor out.
Another great vid! Lesson to be learned! Also run that chain thru a tire, helps to prevent whip lash from a snapped chain or cable. Learned from my past experiences.
Glad you got the tractor out without too much trouble. I would say it was just an oops. Ethan's pride might be the only thing hurt. Hope the yield is as good as you has hoped. Hello from Springfield Missouri.
Farming is one of the most dangerous occupations. You can thank the lord if you can look at your hands and count to ten. Always say a prayer before the day begins. Stay safe and be alert.
I thought hard about the tipping tractor because my grandpa was killed in the 60's when he rolled a John Deere on a hillside in the front yard. Very good job and a super video thank you for sharing 🙏🙏
When I was a kid on farm by Newaygo. My Dad was pulling me backwards to start a 620 JD tractor, I put the clutch in to early stopped the pickup and didn’t start the tractor. So my Dad backed up the pickup to give a tug to start rolling. The chain snapped come back and wrapped around the right axle next to me. We went and bought batteries for the tractor.
Yeah, done that before, with a bulldozer, luckily just slid to the bottom, ain't no fun, thank God you got it out with no real problem, thanks for sharing this Rhonda, Kevin and your family
I am glad everything worked out well for you all. I have been it a situation that was similar. It can be scary. The best thing is no one got hurt and nothing was damaged.
Glad everything worked out and nobody got hurt and no equipment damaged. Things like that can happen no matter how careful you are. Keeping calm was the best thing no matter how bad you wanted to chew some butt.
nobody got hurt main thing aw the one on mackensie,s engagement the other day on my tv cant comment on it but congratulations to them you all raised a wonderful daughter
We shelled our high moisture and followed with a pull type harvester with a direct cut head to harvest the stalks for heifer feed. It made acceptable feed, but it stretches manpower pretty hard.
I used to work with a farm contractor and have seen that type of thing happen a few times over the years and as long as there’s a person that has sense to know where to hook the chain it usually ends ok
I remember many years ago about 55, one of my classmates brother was packing silage and they found him under the tractor. He didn't survive. That was before roll bars. Alway be careful packing.
That was a scary moment for sure, I'm so glad nothing nor no one got hurt. I felt your anxiousness when Ethan was on the tractor with the wheel in the air. My son was on a small Massey and the brakes didn't work going down a hill. He turned the wheels to go sideways and the tractor's rear tire came off the ground about a foot. After that the brakes got replaced, which I told my wife that would never happen again. Whew, glad it turned out okay! I hope your day is good and you all have a good week.
Have you been able to find sawdust for bedding this year or will you go another route? Happy to see no one was hurt. May God's blessings continue to shine on your family and farm.
I know that was scary 😦 . Anytime you have that a Tractor that gets that squirrelly you can get hurt. I am glad the young man is safe and tractor and driver weren’t hurt 😢..
Been there, next time hook the chain to the right upper 3 point pivot. that way it prevents tractor from going over & also gives a rearward force vector
First God bless your Daughters wedding announcement. Thanks for the info on the Earlage not need here but some might need the info. As for the accident I was yelling at my TV scream direction so they would hear me over the equipment. You can imagine the laugh I had once I realized what I was doing but hey I have been right there to many times figuring something out. God bless you all this was a really good video. 🙂
So scary watching it. Was praying for Kevin when he was standing so near that chain. My little Brothers Father-in-Law was killed while doing that trying to get a stuck dozer free. He hooked the chain and when pressure was put on the chain it snapped with part of it flying back and hitting him in the head. Give him a big hug and kiss and tell him your subscribers said to never scare us like that again. 😱🫣
.... a bit of excitement to change up the day is always good as long as no-one gets hurt .... hazard to guess the bottom at the edge did not have a high compaction so when going to the edge later on it compressed and the weight of the tractor pushed the bales over .... again just the first thought that went through the grey matter .. heads up, not an engineer or even a farmer, so no first hand experience .... thx for the share ,, as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....
Ide like to tell uall from southeast Ohio. Congratulation on youalls bay engagement. I directional drilled as well in 90's. He seem as be very well manored young man. And she will never let him starv She knows food n farming. N thats rarely about these day. !! Awsome. Im still waiting on daughter.. she picky. But smart❤😊😊
Pins & needles! What a great escape! So glad it all worked out. Thx for sharing. Would have been easy for you to not share that content. Your channel is the real deal.
The good old days pick the corn leave the stalks and plow them under either when fall plowing or in the spring. Let it compost and mixed with manure from the barn you can't ask for better fertilizer. Maybe add some lime to neutralize the acid for the ph
nice & high protein energy corn earlage harvesting & chopping # the chopper does remove the leaves & chop corn grains & the core to which grains r attached which has no nutritional value as it has high indigestible fiber # ❤️ 👍 🇵🇰
Putting duels on the rear tires would make it safer to pack along the edges . I also built a metal box to put extra weight in for the 3 point to help in packing , just my two cents ! Enjoy your videos.
My cousin's classmate from Bible School was killed in a summer accident while cutting grass along the highway in southern Alberta. (1961) The classmate was driving a tractor for the Department of Highways. In those days, roll cages were not mandatory. He drove over a culvert hidden by the tall grass. The tractor rolled and he went straight to Heaven. Ethan is blessed in that the accident could have been much worse. Kevin was concerned as well as he came over to see. Give them all a hug.
So glad to see y'all chain to that roll bar. It couldn't go over with that. I know you don't get the same amount of packing force with dual tires but they can sure help in a situation like that. How much tonnage difference per acre is there between earlage and the whole stalk? Also congratulations to MacKenzie on her upcoming wedding. She is a beautiful sweet well rounded person thanks to Mom and Dad and I wish only the best for them. Oh yea tell Ethan to stay away from that edge...
Well, having seen an "accident" like this before, some things that you guys did was questionable. This is the first time that I have seen you guys do something that I would not say was safe.
dose anything ever get Kevin down? must be the coolest guy I've ever seen. just goes with the flow. I need his attitude towards life.
Kevin seems to Always be s Calm and Cool and Im sure it’s Not just on Video. I bet you need to occasionally take Kevin’s Pulse to make sure he’s still Breathing. 😬
Thanks for the Great Explanation on Earlage. 👍🙏

Need back wheels out full of water to help with loader and certainly helps with right on the edge .
Beautiful crop all love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That would be a perfect opportunity for the yankum rope. Help keep our farms safe yankum ropes

Sorry to hear of the accident with your grandpa.
Guys have a Strong 💪 Tendency of pushing the limits because it’s what we do. 🤨 His wife will need to have a stern conversation with him. 😬👍🙏
Impressive first class tractor rescue operation!! And hopefully a teachable moment!
Love all yalls videos my 10 yr old grandson watches it with me all the time. He said Pawpaw ole Ethan cowboyed up and wasn't scared hes tough
Thanks for watching!
That is cool. thanks for the education on earlage.
Whew I was on the edge of my seat glad that's over
We've been doing earlage since the mid-70s. The added roughage is good for the dairy herd.
When I was a kid on farm by Newaygo. My Dad was pulling me backwards to start a 620 JD tractor, I put the clutch in to early stopped the pickup and didn’t start the tractor. Nasty surprise to topple over. All is good. 🤞
Good Sunday Morning Ronda 🎶🎶🎶

Glad he didn't get hurt other than his pride
Good thinking hook the chain to the row over bar to kept the tractor rowing on it side. I am glad it turned out right side up.
Great team work getting that tractor out!! Well done and many thanks for the brilliant explanation re your corn harvest!!
Hello !
like your channel an you all taking time to explain the whole farming process . nice to learn .
peace an blessings craig
I found myself holding my breath watching the recovery. Phew nerves of steel you farmers have😊
I’ve had a few of those myself and the simple answer is just get another tractor and chain and pull back on it from an angle to the stuck tractor.
Nobody got hurt. That’s the good thing. Stay safe everyone.
You are doing a great job, the tractor has come out with great difficulty, the video is very cute.
That was definitely scary,I guess Kevin just doesn't get scared.Wowza,be careful all of you, we want to see everyone stick around with us.
Glad everyone is safe , I've been on a tilt with my tractor .. doesn't take much , scary ... .
I remember many years ago about 55, one of my classmates brother was packing silage and they found him under the tractor. He didn't survive. That was before roll bars. Alway be careful packing.
That is scary stuff, glad no one was hurt.
Well Ronda, I started to cringe when I saw Kevin standing by that chain. So glad no one got hurt. God bless all of you. Thanks for the scarry video.😒
If you would have seen me...I too was cringing.
Bravo Rhonda Kevin well done blessings
Thanks for videoing. I might’ve put my camera away, but we all enjoyed the recovery. Glad it went well.

Yeah, no brakes would be scary!!! Glad your son is ok!
Always a plus when you don't have to "test" the roll-over bars.
Good video, Rhonda! Quite a save on the tractor. Going downhill seemed to work out well!! Have a nice day! 😀
😂that was Exciting 🎉 good job 👍
Safety first Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Have you been able to find sawdust for bedding this year or will you go another route? Happy to see no one was hurt. May God's blessings continue to shine on your family and farm.
Sawdust is abundant this time of the year, but we wait and see what winter brings.
Great family work!
Fun for me to watch sitting on my chair in the living room.
You are doing a very good job

Farming can be dangerous work. Glad nobody was hurt
That could have been so much worse. Thank God it wasn't. Farming is the 10th most dangerous profession for personal injuries.
GOOD JOB EVERYONE!
I wanted to toss a old blanket or something on the chain also.
I love chains but a few blocks and some cable work better.

I' sorry for the accident, however this was an exciting and intersting episode. A lot of basic physics involved. No one was hurt, so no

Kevin I am so happy for your daughter McKenzie to get married
Here in the Netherlands it is a mandatory to seed a covercrob after cornharvest.
Thanks
Great Video 👍

That's awful!! Sorry to hear that.
Nobody got hurt !! My Dad would not let us use a tractor back in the day unless it had a roll bar .
Done that a few times . Gets a bit tricky when the heap of silage is higher than the sides of the clamp
So glad to see y'all chain to that roll bar. It couldn't go over with that. I know you don't get the same amount of packing force with dual tires but they can sure help in a situation like that.
