Love the fact I just found this video shot like 4 yrs ago. Started collecting when I saw the Nike Dunk High “Nikebooks” around 2009ish it was my birthday, and I still have that pair to this day. I collected a lot Air Force ones dunks, A.J’s mainly 4’s, 11’s, 12s 13’s big fan of 13’s & of course the 14’s mainly “Black Toe” just copped those.
Takes a lot of time as a sneaker head to really keep the ones you love & wanted as kid & got them as an adult & then the ones you realize “I don’t need these anymore” I respect his admiration for the art of this. it’s a Great collection but this level of dedication is wild but understandable as well. Great video my guy. Mayor definitely should as others said write a book or something about this… because every shoe we buy, get or gifted to us, we have a good reason to get it . If Mayor and I wore the same size shoes.....I would visit your store and have those WBF's and the Borough Pack in those special boxes with the master case back on a flight to NC. Appreciate this collectors what TwoJ's is giving access to the WORLD to see
I don't even have a proper sneaker in my collection still watch ur channel
Amazed to see this mayor gave a small hint about this on complex I guess
Much love n respect
This is one of the most epic episodes of hoarders I’ve ever seen. Great job.
I can’t front. When I saw this video for the first time I shed a tear because when I started collecting this man was and still is a legend so watching the video tore me apart.
When asked how many pairs of Air Force said “600 or 700 pairs... yeah it’s bigger than some peoples collections”
Me sitting here with 8 sneaker rotation 🙃 18:15
Fr lol
@Bare Knuckle Its not about the shoes making you happy. It's about the designs, the artwork, the stories, the materials, and the aesthetics of the shoes and how it catches the eye. We don't collect because it makes us happy we collect because it is art and we hold value as they are all special pieces of a moment in time and taste similar to a photograph that brings back memories.
@Bare Knuckle when Mayor made the comment about the skippy shoes and he would never be like that again was his trigger. It definitely is a mental thing for him. Listening to him talk and also seeing his IG he seems a bit insecure.
He's Making room for his Yu-Gi-Oh cards
@OpBanana he said 700 white on whites and like 1000 forces as a whole
I could’ve watched another 2 hours. Great episode! Cultivating relationships is really what made it happen!
Yo! This needs to be a Netflix special
For real
I'm not gonna lie I really enjoyed watching this. I mean I didn't sit and watch the whole thing in one sitting but I paused and played it here and there but I finally watched the whole video. I really really enjoyed it man!! This was dope to watch! So thank you Two J's!! Can't wait to see more in the future and I hope you do go to Russia some day my brotha!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷💪💪
Man this is one of the best videos I've seen on a long long time. I can't recall the last time I watched a 2 and a half hour video that kept me so engaged the entire time. Man this was sad to while at the same time inspiring hearing all the amazing stories Mayor had to share. And lastly it's so good to see TwoJs back on youtube and I can't wait to see what collection he does next
You’re The King of all These collectors in the world. God bless you and your family.
You know he cried when he got home all alone thats a long history 30 years that must have been hard to part from them
Probably not. I recently sold about 100 pairs of around 20 year old AF1 and Js. They’re just shoes. The memories don’t go away.
@@Dikwili yeah but ur 100 pairs are a lot less then a 2 million dollar collection
socks my point is they're just shoes.
@@Dikwili they're just shoes to YOU! You could've grown up not being able to afford shit and now you're grown you don't want to just let go of something you worked so hard for. Its sad. You weren't connected to those 100 js thats why lol
@@kingburtonhd you don’t know me at all. I did grow up not being able to afford Jordan’s or even damn nikes. So don’t go around thinking you know people dude. I had some of those shoes for 20+ years brand new in the box because I loved them so much. People like you should refrain from opening this mouth and letting their fingers type dumb shit. When real life causes you to sell things that are just lying around to fix your god damned house, then you do big boy things. So STFU and take your mind reading shit somewhere else.
I wish they were size 12 but my wallet is glad they aren’t
10.5 is the hardest to come by
Bert Andurnee bruh try a 14
@@hygrometer it's a pain having that size
Bert Andurnee no its not lol. That’s a common size
@@eeZyy_ its so common its sold out usually
I dont know much about sneakers but I found this so interesting. I can't believe the heritage, the trust and love there is. Love the story that has been told and the story to come.
He's Making room for his Yu-Gi-Oh cards
I've done this before triggered. I moved 50 pairs of shoes for 50,000 Yu-Gi-Oh cards
Hey Mayor I’m the guy who did your Yankee customs from Texas 💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Now that is a serious collection
“You wanted to come and appreciate”. You make mad money off this but you live it, not self absorbed at all.❤️
i can't even imagine the amount of time and work behind this collection...You The Sneaker GOD..Bless up can't wait to get my hands on any one of these.
Make a section online “The Mayor Collection” or “The Hoardings of Mayor”, “ The Mayors Closet”!!!!
I would love to see 2j buy everybody's closet American pickers style.
He can grab these 200 and something.
NPC Voter frfr👍🏿✌️
he broke
American Sneaker Pickers would be a dope idea for a show.
@@HaightTheGreat The cool kicks dudes sorta do it already. It's going to be a few more years until our bricks become heat of tomorrow. And with all the retros...
Crazy respect. Timeless memories. I am digging mayor's collection. Thank you
This video was amazing, thank you two j's kicks for taking the time, effort and energy to create this documentary. Your appreciation for this collection is beyond belief. This was crazy! But you did it. Congrats and my hat off to you my friend.
Literally to the 1% who’s reading this,God Bless you stay safe and have a wonderful day🥰my dream is to become a famous TH-camr
Don’t focus on fame, focus on good content and consistency.
God Bless you and yours. I’am not one to sh't on anyone’s dream, but I hope your dreams far exceed TH-cam
This dude literally post this on every damn youtube video I watch 😂
Was not bored for one second throughout the whole video. Youre an inspiration and an idol and there is no one like you
Damn didn't realise that was 2 and a half hours. 😂 brilliant video and graft jay👍 mayors the goat. Amazing collection
Love how humble he is bout all the sneakers he doesn’t care about the money if he could fit them he wouldn’t sell for any price he genuinely loves shoes
This collection gives me goosebumps.. Just bought another pair of white on white AF1s because I miss my forces. Thanks Mayor for letting us into your collection.
You know he cried when he got home all alone thats a long history 30 years that must have been hard to part from them
Omg, the way Mayor wears hats cracks me up every time. It's on top of one eyebrow and he can hardly shut that eye.
Mid 90’s nyc street style.
If my stomach hurts seeing all those shoes go not evening owning any, can’t imagine what Mayor is going through. This is amazing. Truly legendary.
One of the best informative videos that I've watched on TH-cam and I don't even really wear trainers. I love crazy shoes but this video made me wish I got in there. The greatest collection ever...
THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MAYOR, WHEN I HEARD THAT IT HUMBLED ME NO LIE HE’S RIGHT 👟🔥💯
Imagine a level that can't be replicated & to stare at shoe's you can't wear. Then decide to dismantle is just a level beyond what some think is a collection then it's really not even close. Mayor is basically untouchable the storylines behind the shoes are irreplaceable.
the stories behind every shoe was nice to hear. more impressive that he remembers them all
This was an incredibly long video but I loved watching it. I binged the entire video and although I am not a sneaker head like you fellas, I do have a passion for them and it was surreal to see so many gems that have never been seen by so many. Great video.
I wonder how much he got paid for doing this for him?
Best content I’ve ever seen in terms of all things sneakers!! Awesome job! I cried !! Lol
Amazon
I like how you picked his brain not a lot of these sneaker ppl really asked him as much questions u did!
I sat for 2 1/2 hours and this was amazing, the sneaker game Mayor has created and Two J's has made possible for all of us to watch its so real and amazing
Legendary. The word that fits this whole experience perfectly. There is noone like mayor. There never will be again. Long live the 👑 king. Even with all these pairs leaving. He's still the greatest. Jay thank you for doing this. This was amazing. You're the young 👑 up and coming. Again legendary
Y'all should sign the shoe boxes from "the Mayor Collection" or send out cards or sumthin so people can identify this particular collection! & folks can post on their social media & what not!!!
Facts
He should make a coffee table book for his shoes, like a history book for his collection
Now that is a serious collection
Sounds like a plan
Because this dude could careless he just wants money, I’m not talking about mayor either.
Ok but why was this so interesting 😭 I’m not even into shoes like that but I watch the whole thing
This dude is amazing, straight up. This collection probably won’t never be seen in no one house again. At least years from now his collection is CRAZY OVER 1.5 MILLON.
Praying that J has got rock solid security at the store.
Darth Bossk He has people you can’t see protecting his place.
As I’ve followed mayor for years almost a decade, it’s crazy to see this go to you twojs. To me he is the greatest to do it, Thank you for filming this! I had to refill my popcorn two times. I can’t wait to own a couple pairs! Mayor will always be #UNFUCWITHABLE
Just finished the video from start to finish. To see the truck pull away was sad. And then to see his photo from IG with the Grand closing wow.
1:22:30 Why don't you manufacture a Mayor collectors box for the shoes ? This documentary is historic.
Massive respect to Mayor and his passion,it clearly shows. Massove tepsecy to Jaysee smashing througut it all on his own. What a machine
Let’s jus take a moment and acknowledge Mayor eats shrimp and steak Caesar salads... subtle flex
Humble flex hahah
Lol how is that a flex
Jonathan Leyva it’s expensive as hell
Raja lol broke boi
Without croutons tho.
This was such a dope watch
“You wanted to come and appreciate”. You make mad money off this but you live it, not self absorbed at all.❤️
He ruin the video for me because instead of putting all that effort into telling us what shoes he have he's talking too much for me
AP Skeleton royal oak. Gorgeous.
@@cyrillanicoche6177 bkk
Eh. It was alright. This was a 2.5 hour video and they probably talked about getting rid of the collection 90% of it instead of actually showing off most of the shoes.
That is sneaker collection is so insane. So many 1of 1s . His sneaker collection is best in the world hands down.

Absolutely legendary
Happy thanksgiving y’all 🦃🍁, I’m thankful for all the real ones/day ones... thanks for all your support through the journey! 🙏🏾💯🛣💫
Let's call it what it is. Mayor is beyond famous...he's a legend.
How many times y’all think he said “it’s not about the money”🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s about a deep seeded inferiority complex but if it didn’t make money he wouldn’t be doing it on that level.
It's not I had a homie who was tapped in with the kicks like this. Treated Dem Ho3z like they was Keys coming cross the border. When u plugged in ain't about the money!
It’s not about the money. He got rid of all these and will continue to get more shoes today.
Day 1 that I’ve seen mayor speak and watch on videos …. HUMBLE. That’s it. It’s all Love
Please do a documentary for the culture.......the stories PRICELESS and must be documented fully. 🤩🤩🤯🤯🥺🥺😢😢
