This is actually a boat I’d happily have. There’s so many that are too big or too flashy. This is a beautiful boat but doesn’t shout too much about how good it is. Great layout too
An excellent review Jack. Really like the handling, real world pros and cons and final costing aspect of your videos. Not a boat for me but very interesting to see. Thank you 🙏
Superb review Jack! Honest and thorough, whilst also entertaining. I like the Pardo range to look at, but this one has some compromises I wouldn’t make.
She is classy, not flashy, but she is a smooth operator. For day trips, weekender trips, 250 nautical miles. She is an all weather boat she'd cope with the Mediterranean or in the more temperance weather countries like the UK. Nice decor, good storage arrangement seating great outside. Inside, like the sofa area and galley below. Like her..
That's a very nice boat, I like the finishes and the layout, I would not bother with the crew cabin and just have it as storage or put a washer dryer in it. I would also definitely have the lower galley option that's a no brainer. It seems a bit pricey but heyho that's the way of the world today. Great tour and sea trial Jack thank you.
Interesting layout, and limitations aside (i.e. headroom), for the US market (thinking stylish weekender or ICW/coastal cruising) that crew cabin might make a better utility room and/or cruiser storage/pantry. Honestly though, that crew space kept making me think "You've been crimped... You're a sailor Harry!" Thanks for a fun tour!
Very stylish looking but i feel, as you tactfully allude to, style is given to much consideration over functionality. Great video as always, thanks Jack.
Setting aside that most of the individual options are more than I can afford for a whole boat, I'm more into traditional aesthetic than post-modern. That anchor system is begging for Murphy to pay it a visit, and I put decent safety rails over clean lines. I do like that dinette in the back, and the submerging platform for the tender is a nice option. I second putting the galley down below. Everyone's gonna want to be able to enjoy the view from those awesome windows even if the weather forces them inside. Better to let extra guests sleep up there than force them to go below deck during the day. BTW that crew cabin seems more suited for pulling a convoluted prank involving lending your boat to friends and stowing away than berthing. Although if you have a moody teenager that doesn't want to be around the other kids I can see it coming in handy.
The Pardo GT 52 is stunning to looking boat, in the master cabin, the bed placed on an angle, I think it looks great and accessibility is wonderful, how is it sleeping on that angle with waves constantly moving the boat? I didn't notice any stairs going down to the "platform" for easy access to the water to swim, it would've been nice if the platform can be integrated into the back of the boat, so not to incur extra docking costs. In the cockpit where are you indicated under the seats, that refrigeration is available, why did they use a piece of plastic that doesn't fully cover the opening, with 4 plastic screws to hold in... place? Another great review, thanks Jack
It Looks great form the outside and the interior design is classic high quality Italian but the internal layout decisions are a bit odd . The low ceilings are an issue and the crew cabin option is a total waster of space . Complelty Pointless on a boat of this size . They seem to have sacrificed internal liveability for style . A shame because with a few incremental changes it could be spectacular .
If you were looking for a 4 seater, would you then look at Ferrari 296 GTS 2 seater? or would you look at the Ferrari Purosangue 4 seater? Lots of cars, lots of boats to choose from to find the right... fit
A classic case of style over substance. A few too many compromises have definitely put me off this one. I'd take a Targa over this and have a better sea boat and lots of extra cash in my pocket.
near the end re: pricing, he listed all of the 'cost options fitted' for this boat, yet didn't include the cost of the useless crew cabin which was specifically called out earlier in the vid 👀
The cost of the optional extras on these boats always make me laugh, i suppose they think if you'll pay the price these boats cost, well what's a few tens of thousands on top, they i am sure know their customers well.
i'm laughing at how expensive those extras are. €17,000 for some fabric that extends over the seating area hahaha what!? that should be €2k max. €1k for the product itself and €1k to fit. they're making numbers up on the spot with all that. €23k sunroof... it's some glass with an electric motor ffs. I bet they'd charge €2,000 for a replacement cushion worth €50
Know someone who owns a smaller version. Build quality is awful on these boats. Electronics, fit and finish, and it drives really wet. US Pardot service team advised him not to purchase another one too.
Personally, I think this is a pretty unimpressive boat, minimal transformative features, the front deck is massive, but no sofas, 50% of it is useless, only some sunpads, anchoring is way too overengineered and easily breakable, motor yachts are always too loud when cruising and has a tilt backwards so it's uncomfortable when sitting sideways when cruising, range is too low, speed is alright. Overall, it's pretty bad.
Sorry ….but give me a Riva or Pershing any day over a Pardo …. I think they look hideous….. and ips only !!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Defo a No from me …. Each to their own I guess 🤷♂️
Sorry but the aesthetic compromises just aren't worth the lost livability. You can keep the anchor setup. I'd much rather have a seakeeper. A jack of all trades is a master of none. I don't know who this boat is made for, but I'm pretty sure they aren't an experienced sailor. I'd buy a Blue game or even a Solaris before a Pardo.
no it is NOT a Targa in a gucci suit. that fell really flat. way to many "options" on this boat. if you were to take it with no options it would be a sorry vessel indeed.
This might be the winner of the most stupid boat of the year. For 1.2m euro you get 52ft boat that can rival some 35ft boats accommodation wise as it has 2 cabins, no full beam master, limited headroom guest room and a toilet next to the bed in the skipper cabin that no skipper will ever use. Oh ye, and you get to the skipper cabin by lifting guest sofa.
A Targa in Gucci suit? The italian Targa? Well Pardo has a history with copying other desgins and even shamelessly taking measurements during boat shows. Confront their court ruling in the Fjord case
Pardos are getting a bad reputation In the United States and it's not because it's a poorly constructed yacht or it's a bad company the yacht the company is perfectly fine it is their Clients that's causing all the problems I know in most areas most voters avoid partos because of the owners just driving them like weenie's just doing stupid stuff in them causing problems creating dangerous situations parto needs to find better clients who will not put their name in jeopardy

Thanks Jack for the subtle critique in this vid. As usual, your comprehensive and practical knowledge of the product make for great entertainment. 😊
Thanks Chris, glad you liked the video, thanks for watching! - Jack
The crew space is hilarious. More like punishment space. The rest of the boat looks great. 👍
This is actually a boat I’d happily have. There’s so many that are too big or too flashy. This is a beautiful boat but doesn’t shout too much about how good it is. Great layout too
You have a great channel mate,in a crowded market, well done.
Thanks Anthony, really glad you like what we’re doing 💪 - Jack

Better options with better pricing as well ... Great video!
Thats A Good Looking luxurious Boat Jack 😎

Incredible boat Jack, thanks.
Love to see a comparison with the similar, but very stylish, Solaris GT 52😢.
Battle of the Italian GT's...
Cheers Sean! - Jack
Thank you. Excellent presentation and nice to call up some prices.
Glad you liked it mate, cheers - Jack

Great tour as always. Galley down always seems a better option where available
Hey Jack you look fit. Keepin' up the good work dude !
Thanks ☺️ - J

Thanks from İstanbul
🇹🇷💪
I love this boat. If I ever win the lottery (come on Camalot, do me a favour) I would have one in a beat of a humming birds wing.
A lovely looking boat and tour but the extras are very expensive ie the Bimini for 17k is a bit rich !
Another great video Jack.
Got any plans on taking the Centouno Navi 55 out for a spin?
Thanks Mike. Not for the moment, unfortunately - Jack
Nothing is a targa but targa 🤗
I believe there are better options with similar style points but much better functionality for that price in my opinion
Quick question: Where exactly is this being filmed at? Looks awfully nice there.
Mainly Osbourne Bay and the central Solent 👍 - Jack
@@Yachtbuyer Thanks for the reply.
Needs bigger engines, all show, not enough go! Jack, I’m curious what you would choose if you were shopping for a boat in this category/ size range? 🤔
It has an interesting look but, the helm position seems too far from the bow for my tastes, Thank you for sharing access to this craft!

@@The-Droll-and-LazyJoker yep all true , but the changes this boat needs would'nt dramatically alter its overall character . Just improve it
If it can go from Miami to Nassau, I'll take it.
🏝️
A classic case of style over substance. A few too many compromises have definitely put me off this one. I'd take a Targa over this and have a better sea boat and lots of extra cash in my pocket.
Why have a crew space?
Huh? Is a single level walk around deck not like the main thing of a Targa/work boat?
Yes, it was tongue in cheek 😉 - Jack
near the end re: pricing, he listed all of the 'cost options fitted' for this boat, yet didn't include the cost of the useless crew cabin which was specifically called out earlier in the vid 👀
I’d already mentioned that it was a €11,000 option so did’t think it needed repeating - Jack
Can see Jack struggling with this boat. What a mess.
Fiddles in the head but not the galley? My toothpaste tube will not end up on the floor, pity about the spaghetti carbonara. 😂
😆

Awesome boat!!! Not so Awesome crew space. Maybe it should be owner operated.
I think that this would be great for a teen or occasional drunk.
The good old “mother in law cabin” 😉 - Jack
Foocking hell, skipper sleeps in shithouse. Brilliant😂
I'll stick to the Sabre Salon Express

Very compromised in many ways. Botnia/Sargo do it better.
IPS doing IPS things.
needs a grill.

They need to put better options than trash Volvo on all these boats *barf*
What would you prefer? - J
@Yachtbuyer Traditional drivetrain with CAT or MAN
