Me too. Esme did some really messed up things and I understand why a lot of viewers didn't like the character, but she has her fans too. They seemed to be in the process of redeeming her until the new writers took over. I can understand why they used her as a way of ushering Spencer off the show, but unlike Nicholas Chavez, who seems to have intended to move onto bigger and better things (though they initially said his exit would be temporary while he filmed that show about the Menendez brothers, and would return to GH once it had wrapped), Avery seemed to enjoy being on the show and seems to enjoy acting for the sake of acting, as opposed to wanting to be super famous. She seemed rather bummed that they let her go, as at a Zoom fan event earlier this year which I had attended, she seemed much less bubbly and enthusiastic about Esme than she had been in the various interviews I've listened to with her.
@@Princess-Esme I’d love to have her back. She reminded me of a young Allison Sweeney as ‘Sami Brady’. The girl with a golden heart who does devilish things for love.
Avery is a great actress. I miss her on GH.
