there's nothing like the clap/beat of hooves on pavement.. it must be so satisfying to do a job that you love so much.. horses are lucky to be trained/handled by you my friend.. thx Barry..
My trotter x cob has locking stifel on both sides and she's only 3 yo I was devastated as she was a rescue but I'm in 2 minds as to weather it would work for her
Yes we live in the chiltern hills and she will be getting dragged up and down every hill I can find lol she also grazes on a hill is it just a normal diy palm sander x
Yes just a handheld sander, but obviously with a pad on it - not a piece of sandpaper! If you can get her to tolerate it, the noise is not too much different to a set of clippers. Also, something like baby oil on the pad is ideal.

Thank you Barry for sharing Toffee with us.
This is a Wonderful Expose for the Power of the Pony. Also a Continuance for our Love of the Equines with Driving Methods as We Age!!!
What a cute little guy and he looks like he's having fun too.
I’d totally benefit from a massage before work. And after, thank you! 💕

Always worth a try! We found with Toffee (and others like him) that exercise also helped free up his stifles.

What is stifles?
Stifles are their hind "knees" - the joint between the hock and the hip.
