    Great tutorial video. Thank you. Will the Shimano style cog driver fit another gear to make it 6 speed?

      @thatbmxguy  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can use 2 gears at once for a 6 speed setup

      @@thatbmxguy I read some conflicting information on this. Can you give me the part for this driver? Thank you. I just want to make sure I order the right part.

      The part number should be HSA800. It is on the BWR parts list on brommieplus.com

    Hello, do you know where i can get my hands on an adaptor like the one you used in the video, i can't find them anywhere, only the screw on ones
    I once again would honestly appreciate your help in this regard.

      I got it from a guy in Portland. These are hard to find in the states, SJScycles otherwise may have them but they didn't ship to the USA last I tried them.

    Hello it's me again, I heard somewhere that you can put the srf internals in an AW hub, does this work and if so, will I be able to follow the same steps as in this video to add the 9 spline.
    Saddly, I can't do anything with spokes myself, I kinda need to go through the internal replacement route...😅
    If this works, I'll be close to finally making my 3-speed a 9-speed
    Btw where can I find a 9 spline like you have? I can't seem to find one, all the ones I find are screw ons...

    • @thatbmxguy
      @thatbmxguy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The SRF3 internals will fit in the 2010+ AW only.

      Ah, well... I've wasted some money. I guess I can ask my local shop to fit the new hub I brought on, it may not be the original but if the new hub is required so I don't have to weld anything then that's what I'm gonna have to do...
      Again, thanks for being so helpful it's making this (unknowingly) frustrating quest for hybrid gears much more bearable, I honestly thought that there would be spares everywhere when I first started looking, saddly it's not as easy as past me thought it was going to be. 😅

      @thatbmxguy quick question: does any of these adaptors work as long as they have the Pawls, or do they need a certain depth? I'm asking as I am finding some that look similar, but the pawls on them are all very shallow compared to what is shown in the video...

    • @thatbmxguy
      @thatbmxguy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the hub this driver goes in has to have the actuator pawls.

    Thanks a lot for this very interesting video. Just because I'm not fluent in English, does your modification reduce the clic clic sound we hear when pedaling? Because this sound is disturbing for me. Thanks for your help

      The driver makes it so you can use Shimano splined cogs on the hub.. It just may be easier finding shimano spline cogs.

      @@thatbmxguy I have bought titanium cogs from China, for my Lightweight, as spares and different gearings. I may like a higher topspeed, so I found an 11 tooth and more in front also. I don't know if they are usefull but I will find out? 😊

    Park Tool RP-1 is the tool for removing and adding circlips, less likely to slip and puncture your skin when using a screwdriver (and force) 🚑

    This is very interesting. How has the hub held up in use? I am keen to try this to enable the use of a double sprocket set up on an SRF3 hub. One UK supplier of the BWR driver does not recommend it. Watching you do the conversion does seem show that everything goes together as it should and running smoothy. Unless I'm missing something, I thought the BWR driver was designed for this purpose and the SRF internals were the same as the BWR's. I welcome any feedback you may have, best wishes

      Sorry comments are hard to check on my phone. The driver works well in this SRF3. I just am not a fan of the circlip.

      If you didn't already know, you can easily stack 2 dished 3-spline cogs, convex side to convex side back-to-back, on the factory SRF3 driver.
