@@esthervance3304… LOL, you have company! I start and end each day with Joe’s music. It seems that each generation of kids defines its own music language. And that’s one way they get to cut the proverbial apron strings…..it’s part of the natural development of their self-identity. I remember when I was growing up in the 1950s, I just couldn’t get into big band, or swing, or the crooners either. Couldn’t be bothered. It was rock & roll all the way! Our parents said rock & roll would never last! And, uh, they may have been partially correct, LOL. But in some really important way, the very soul and craft of rock & roll has managed to infiltrate cultures everywhere…and nearly every genre of music!
I've said it before and would like to say it again. Joe is becoming the complete musician. It''s no longer about good guitar solos only, but the complete presentation and the result is beautiful. What a nice rendition. Worth the ticket price of entry any day of the week.
I’ve always thought that Joe was, and is, *the complete musician* ….at least in his work spanning the past two decades. People can and do grow, and each step of the way has its own charm. And each has its own value. And each is done by the musician. Although I do pay strict attention to his solos, they are not necessarily the driving force behind my enjoyment, as opposed to other aspects of performance. But the presentation as a whole has always been paramount to my pleasure. Through the years, I’ve often wondered why people continually grade Joe on his work, almost like a pep talk, rather than just saying how they were positively affected by it, or inspired by it, or how much they enjoyed it, or how it fit into their lives. Many do, but others do not. When is a musician finally “good enough”? When does he or she finally “measure up”? From the moment they capture people’s hearts and souls. That’s when! And Joe has been doing that for a good long time!
It's got so many vibes happening. I'm hearing Bruce and the E Street Band. Also one of the coolest country riffs I've heard in a while. Great drumming too. Just awesome
Joe is always great, but this song really featured how far he’s come. Not an easy song vocally, but he sailed right through it. His guitar work was awesome (as usual), and the whole production was impressive. Love how he keeps reinvesting in his product. We fans really are lucky!!

I was never a great puncher of time clocks
I was never the one who had lots
I was only good at one thing, ringing bells, kissing rings
A heart can't heal once padlocked
I was never meant to be the one who was tedious
I always wanna be the one who leads us
On things that came to mind, never on someone else's dime
As the hunter explains to the fox
And the rain soaking through my coat
About to capsize my boat
I push it a long 'way from the docks
I was never a good puncher of time clocks
As the rain has chilled me to the bone
I'm flat-out tired and alone
I put it away, now it's locked
I was never a good puncher of time clocks
I was never a teller of stories
Didn't need to thrive on the glory
It's about the life of a man, victim time and time again
Hard as hell to get up in the morning
And the rain soaking through my coat
It's about to capsize my boat
I push it a long 'way from the docks
I was never a good puncher of time clocks
As the rain has chilled me to the bone
I'm flat-out tired and alone
I put it away, now it's locked
I was never a good puncher of time clocks
Regrets to stoke the fires
Clay pigeon and the ignorant liars
The view from my window as the pouring rain seeps
Too scared to look down in the deep
Make no illusions 'bout your forgone conclusions
Time will set you back, will heal all your wounds
If the darkness sets in, it creeps up on you
Like a man typecast the fool
And the rain soaking through my coat
About to capsize my boat
I push it a long 'way from the docks
I was never a good puncher of time clocks
As the rain has chilled me to the bone
I'm flat-out tired and alone
I put it away, now it's locked
I was never a good puncher of time clocks, oh

What an epic slice of music!! Takes you to a wonderland you've never been to, again and again!
Oh Joe will bring you back there again and again! He's simply put, Amazing and the greatest rock/blues artist around complete with powerful background singers and his band mates are the best! I love him! Oh, and I am discovering that Kirk Fletcher is only getting closer to the perfect performer in every song/aspect and I love his beautiful smile! 🌹 rosita
This is one of his WORST songs. Boring melody and lyrics. “Music” for old (country style loving) people who are one foot in the grave. Yikes! DISLIKE!!!!

Fantastic tune, love the chorus lyrics
I can see Joe and the band playing this song in a stadium with the crowd singing along 🎤🎸🎹😁
Firstly, who is the Bass player, I know the face but can't recall the name. Secondly, from the clips i've watched on here that has to be one of the most powerful performances I have seen by ANY artist in a while. Holy f..k that was awesome, I cannot fault it, the band, the sound and those backing singers, majestic.
Good Luck new Album, ❤❤❤
Thank god for goming to France in Vienne soon, been waiting for years that's awesome!
Joe, I LOVE you. I think you're as good at this style as blues.
You knocked my socks off on this song, Joe.
Great great song, sung and played with fire and taste. The girls are the best female back up in the world bar none. Maybe because they can sing lead vocal too. Special.
Learned by the great B.B. King , I've watched Joe rise up and he's doing great!! His concerts are wonderful and great sounding and not out of tune nor his voice. Everything is authentic.
Love this song ❤
I think you & all your band members on so many tours are excellent!!! I do still buy DVD's, Bonamasa Mopping makes it happy work! Thank You❤
That was so good. Made me cry. It was that good. What a performer he has become. All of it. Everything. Blessed my soul.😢🎉❤
Sweet B bender Joe, keep playing with it, sounds good!

I did not see at Red Rocks but did see Time Clocks concert live at the Ryman. The music, graphics and lighting were so immersive making a very emotional experience! Excited to have Bluray coming in soon!
Good to see old friends! I remember that you had mentioned seeing Joe at the Ryman. Very exciting!
@@M._Lou It will be really great to watch whole show again! Friend and I drove 2 hrs to see Joe in Montgomery 3/7 and then 2 hrs. home. Long day but nearest venue this year so we went!
Excellent my friend, gotta say Ted Nugent and Joe Bonamassa are my favorite guitar gurus.
Wow that was beautiful 💜
