For those in Bedrock, you can replace the note block with a redstone dust, hopper, or even another dropper, anything that updates the Observer, because in Bedrock observers doesn't detect note blocks.

Say, instead of map art, which is tedious to make and takes up space in the world, couldn't you use a texture pack? You could just modify an obscure item's texture, such as warped fungus on a stick, or better yet, give a tag to an ordinary item, and change the texture just for the items with the tag. Another improvement I could think of, is using glow item frames instead of regular item frames to make the cards stand out more.

You can save yourself much time building with Litematica in Creative mode. Go to your litemarica settings by pressing m+c while in a Minecraft world with the mod loaded, and find a setting called something like „execute operation“. Set a keybind and exit the settings again. Then load in your schematic as usual, and, if you’re in creative mode, you can press m and choose the „fill“ option in the bottom left by clicking on the button repeatedly. Then once the operation is set to „fill“, exit the litematica menu and press your „execute operation“ keybind. Litematica should now begin executing /fill commands on your behalf, placing your structure in the world in the quickest way possible. If it couldn’t place some blocks, it will prompt you to visit the coordinates it will show you on screen, so the chunks are loaded when the command is executed. Note: In singleplayer worlds Litematica will opt to modifying the save file to paste schematics, so you won’t be prompted to visit unloaded chunks if you’re in singleplayer and the setting is set correctly.
⚠️1.21 FIX!!⚠️ I was running into an issue where the “hit me” button was not functioning. When I hit the lever to shuffle the cards, all cards just returned to the dealers barrel without pressing the “hit me” button. I fixed this problem by replacing the 3rd hopper at 3:49 (where Gerg says “one, two, three” in reference to the hoppers) with a dropper. Now when I press the button, a single shuffled card returns to the dealers barrel!!
Would like it if you explained what the circuits are doing as you built them. Yes I can just pause and figure it out based on the compodents but for someone with less redstone literacy the approach in the video would be difficult to understand and insentivises people to copy the build without understanding it rather than actually learning how to do redstone. Once you learn what all the compodents do redstone is actually really fun! I reccomend folks to give it a go
For those building in bedrock edition, replace the noteblock with a copper bulb (other comments say things like redstone dust and stuff but copperbulb is better as it wont turn off unless its given another signal so unlike redstone dust, the dropper will only dispense 1 card). Also Gerg doesnt show it but he placed a redstone torch at the 3:53 mark (you can see its particles a little bit)

How does this stop card counting? I know that its constantly shuffling but doesn't card counting have to do with whats out at the table? Maybe I just dont understand card counting 😭 anyway man you sre criminally underrated love the vids and keep up the great work!
Card counting counts the ratio between high cards and low cards left in the deck. As normally blackjack plays with 5-6 decks in what is called the "shoe" and only shuffled after so much of the remaining decks have been played. When there is more high cards to low cards, the balance shifts towards the player, meaning they are more likely to win than lose. So if the player keeps track of this in their head and bets high when it's in their favour, then statistically in the long run they make more money than they lose.
i think a dungeon game like decked out2 would be fun. like if there was a set of beacons that activated when certain item were dropped in a gold apple for regen sword for attack and shield for resistance and a diamond pick for hast speed potion for speed and a feather for jump boost. and certain things can be locked behind level cap doors by making the key certain enchants that are got at a certain lvl of xp to get to other sections of the dungeon or unlock other functions at a base unlock items to help like a map of the dungeon and items to help get you back to the base safe unlock pets to help fight and unlock portals to get more loot
a fun minigame, based on your concrete powder video. each side has 2 stacks of concrete powder. with a random shooter. the concrete powder will shoot from between 3-7 seconds and the first person to suffocate loses!. EACH TEAM GETS A STONE shovel to destroy the powder. with 4 minutes on the clock. up to four teams with 3 people each rumble tobe the winner [ winner gets 1-4 diamonds]
I got a game idea it’s a 4+ player game I call it [ice shot] the rules are simple. [#1 two players per boat one driver and one shooter] [#2 if your boat is broken, you’re eliminated] [#3 if you fall off the arena you’re eliminated] [#4 the last team left are the winners] note you can customize the arena to your liking. (for example making it into a racetrack or having a hole in it, or maybe pillars to hide behind) but all the arena needs is enough space to use iceboat physics and a way to fall off.
This is crazy, I literally had this idea earlier today and was making an arena for it right before I read your comment, I was going to instead call it "Bowt" Like boat+Bow

i mean, the hell of doing the map art is kinda optional, just do it at the lowest map level and u can use commands, that way is so much less difficult to do and the result is even more minecrafty
Just finished building it. Might be one of two things: 1. At 3:54, there's a kind-of hidden Redstone Torch between the white block and the hopper (to the left of the highest hopper). You can see the particle effects. That wasn't explicitly mentioned, so you might have missed it. 2. If you don't fill in the blocks like at 5:48 the draw doesn't work. Why? I dunno. But you have to do this step. One more thing: you'll know it's working properly if all the cards stay in the DROPPERS until the button is pushed. This is what provides continuous shuffling. If cards enter the hopper/droppers on their own, then it can be the reason behind locking up your card draw system. I did this on java btw if it helps
Believe me I am very upset I made this mistake, something to do with the framerate I rendered at, I have reexported a good copy just for archival purposes, But I wish I could reupload over this video but youtube does not allow the feature. Will definitely not make this mistake again

I don't think this design would allow 6 decks. If each of the droppers can hold 9 cards then you only have room for 54 (9*6) cards. If the cards were stackable or you added more droppers then I'd be unsure of ability to shuffle. Disclaimer: I'm definitely not an expert at Redstone so...
Shuffler doesn’t work, lever can’t power diagonally below redstone to power it so he must be in Java doing this, you can just extend it to the side though and cover it with some trap doors
Hey I got a problem when you press the button to get a card after the shuffle sometimes it doesnt put out a card because it only draws out of one of the 6 droppers. And since the at the end of the shuffle it doesnt all end up in there it doesnt work. is there a way to fix this?
