Just happened to come upon this, but know it was meant to be. I was happy to see both The Green and Bread Alone included. My brother, Jogger John, was a Woodstock icon, who passed away last November. He went to Woodstock for THE CONCERT and stayed... because Woodstock is an extraordinary kind and giving community... and a place where he needed to be. Walking through the streets with you, I felt very much as though I was with him today. About the music...music is so personal...only you can match what you want with what you have.
Thank you so much for your feedback and the note about your brother, Jogger John. I started making these videos with my mother and grandmother in mind. I wanted to capture these unique places for my mom since she had mobility issues later on in her life. I always try to compose my pictures like a landscape painter, which my Grandmother was. I appreciate your kindness in addressing the “music”. The music was very much my part and I enjoyed making it very much. I’ve been told more often than not that the music doesn’t fit. In my lasted episode from Austin, Texas, I avoided adding any backing music in that episode and won’t do any for future episodes. I would love to hear your thoughts on that approach to improving the show. My deepest condolences to you for your loss. I hope the majority of your travels are on the sunny side of the street.
You didn`t take me to the lobby of grand hotels. You didn`t give me any cooking tips. And you didn`t quiz me. But you did one thing that most related videos do. You played annoying music throughout the entire video. That`s what ruined an otherwise nice video. Of course, I`m only speaking for myself.
Thank you tons for watching and for taking the time to communicate your feedback. I appreciate your watching and your time. The music is one of the things I enjoy most in creating the videos. Other viewers have expressed similar thoughts and I want Cities & Streets to be the best it can possibly be so to that end, can you describe music you feel would be better fitting or less annoying? New episodes of Cities & Streets are on the horizon and I hope you'll continue to, "tune us in, dial us up or log us on." Travel safely!
@@citiesstreets7158 I can`t really verbalize the sound of that music. The only way I can describe it is that it has a rather fake sound. All computerized with no natural rhythm or anything that moves my soul or mind. To me, it`s just an unnecessary distraction that taints the video. As for you asking me to describe music that I feel would be better fitting; I`d say no background music is necessary. How about just the natural sounds of the settings that you are videoing? Or if I had to choose music to accompany this video, I`d say, how about a natural harp accompanied by an acoustic guitar and a flute all played by humans to give it an organic sound? Again, it`s no big deal. Just an honest observation. Thanks.

These keep getting better and better. Love the sculptures and the music! Looks like a fun adventure.
