I think cutting them different lengths will definitely add flow/zen.... once they are layered I don't know if the loose hair in the back will look out of place anymore... it will just all flow :-) xoxox Happy Thoughts being sent your way!!
did my locs extension myself and i loooove them, the lenght was perfect to do hairstyles but i decided to cut half of them . And i feel much better now its easier to take care of, and i feel a little more like myself .
This is not really a comment related to your hair, which has always looked great, but on the dress you are wearing. I only caught a glimpse of it at the start of the video but I have to say it looks very 40's retro and I think it looks great on you, very flattering, well-fitting, and the color works!
Cut your dreads different lengths , your head won't look like your a manniquin so much then . Also even out the back and add a few dreads , but keep the front just soft and radiant . You are gorgeous no matter how you do it , but something could be better right now ,!
I think you have a good idea, different lengths will look amazing. It will make your loose & natural hair stand out less. sort of blended better against the dreads. Can’t wait to see more videos about it!
I think it would look really nice if you 'loosely' dread the back a bit, so there's still some hair in between so it looks dreaded, but also incorporates some loose hair and maybe not so uniform and contrasts so much with the loose hair in the front. I think different lengths also would look really nice, so I'd say go for it! It looks nice as it is, but there is a lot of contrast between the dreaded hair and the loose hair! :) Looking forward to seeing the results and the new journey!
Yaaay. Subbed. Gonna be getting dreads as well for the first time EVER. So excited to try them out. Already ordered and everything, just waiting for them to get made/shipped. Ahhhhh!!! :D PS - You're beautiful.
I wish I could have seen more of the sectioning on your video getting your new set of dreads. I started some and I really wanted the same beautiful look as you. I wonder my sections were too large.
I am all ways inspired with your videos ,vintage look and your dreadlocks Elisa, not sure about the different Lengths I think they look fab as they are ,I to have lose hair ,some days I love it other days hate it .
What I would probably do is cut random bits about an inch to two long off some of the extensions, then wait for the natural length to grow to a satisfactory length and cut the extensions off completely. Now that may be a long time, but personally it's what I think I would do.
I did the same thing, after i cut them i regreted, i made extensions and im so happy with them. I think you should finish the top of your head but let the short ones with no extensions, that will make you a natural look.
Could you plz film cutting your locks different lengths? I've combed some ends of my extensions out. Looks much more natural now except its difficult to we at it up because the shorter locs tend to boing out
hi I know that this is quite late but if you could please resend i'm soon getting my hair done into extensions and im using yarn like knitting yarn It might sound strange, but yarn isn't supposed to get wet but I need to take showers is there any way to handle taking showers with the braids
Hi Elise! I a Started following your videos since I started dreadlocks a week ago!! Happy journey for me!! I also watched your serious TH-cam video facing the problem with prejudice people and those with dreadlocks Feel better cuz I call them goddess locks!! And if youre a man, of course, godlylocks!! Lol I do not care what other people think of me which is the very reason I got them So with that I take your serious video as a warning of what I will share with you and other goddess locks people with my baby locks as preparation for full on goddess loss in the years to come with much pride and love for others with "dreadlocks" Anyway, you are beautiful with or without your locks Peace and love from the states
I have had a full head of dreadlocks for 4 years & because of the weight (they are very long) have recently had the top section cut so I just have my natural dreads left & the long extensions underneath. The plan is to comb out the locks on the top & leave the locks underneath. They will need to be cut also once I know what condition & length my natural hair will be in once it’s set freeeee! I’m so worried about how I’m going to get my natural loose hair back into a nice, soft condition 🫣. But looking forward to having my hair completely natural with no extensions by Christmas 🤞 Any conditioning advice would be truly appreciated, my natural hair is quite coarse.
Excited to see how they turn out when u add more, and I think it will look great with different lenghts, mine r all different lengths but I don't have extensions they just grew that way lol..great video thanks..
I have dreadlocks since March, and I have lots of loose hair on my dreads, but I don't have any person to fix them very often. So I have to do it myself, but it is hard to do it on your own. I need tips and advice on maintaining them, please. Thanks
Cuttn i think maybe a few elise but not too many ... give it a bit of depth n natural like u say..... my question to u is how does ur roots stay dreaded ? Mine go all loose at the roots n i have to re crochet! ... love the look tho x
Layers would be super cool (like everyone ellse has said lol) the shortest being the one you put in like two days ago and the longest maybe a few centimeters shorter than they are now? And any tips for getting your new lil dread so tight and 'pretty' lol? I've started a few on my back, and in my dreams they'd look as good without many months!
I'm considering getting dreadlock extensions. I too have partial dreads inspired by you actually 😍 I was super bummed when u took them out but I'm glad they're back 😁 I'm thinking of getting semi blonde ones so it can kind of ombre with my reddish brown hair. I think that would look nice. Especially in layers, you have a good point. They'd look more natural I think 👍
I would do small dread in the back with out extensions this way it gives your hair some frame. With your hair type I recommend the twist n rip it made mine really compact and they tightnes up faster than when I used back combing (my hairs pretty close to your hair type).
Wow, I LOVE your hair & dreads sooo much please don't do anything to it!!!! I WISH my hair looked like yours. Your dreads are very nice look very even and clean & I dont see knots and fuzz like most ppl have when they have dreads. Wish you were my friend lol I'd pay you to do my hair like urs! Nice job girl! DON'T TOUCH UR HAIRR LOL 🙈💜🙈🙈
I would not cut them, unless you don’t mind losing the tail at the end. Yes you can try to make the tip look the same, but it’s almost impossible (I’ve tried several times). If you do decide to cut and mimic the ends, pls show and tell us how you did it 😊
Hi Hi Elise. Love love love everything you do. I cant wait to see what you are up to next! The hair around your face is lovely. Maybe just cut a few three inches shorter. No matter what it will be beautiful!!!!!! Happy weekend.
I started with 7 dreads, then decided i had too much loose hair so I did another row ending with 13, it would be 15 but I didn’t want the hair in front of my ears done. They are definitely beautiful no matter what you do with them. I use Tropiclean shampoo made from essential oils.
You can dread yourself AND see what you are doing by using a normal bathroom mirror and another one on wheels - like you would use for getting dressed. I have cut my own hair with this setup.
My dear Elise, I've been watching your dreadlock videos for years and years! I have partials that are going on four years! I'm not sure what to do this loose hair at this point.. I love your channel as inspiration. It's hard to find people to chat about OLD partials! What are your opinions on partials vs full headed locs? With you experience? Thanks peace and love!
When your dreads are pushed back over your shoulders with just your natural hair showing at the front it looks much nicer. The dreads look nice when you have them up on top of your head
Do what you like it's your hair but I personally would dread the rest of your head. Only certain people can pull off the partial look but I don't like it on you, but as I said it's your hair if you like it; keep it
You always look gorgeous from bust shot, how you normally film yourself. I don't know but l tell you what l like: 1- always volume on the top 2- if you want to rock a flat top head put lots of volume in just one side. 3- dreads size and volume to be proportional to full body view from all distances and angles. 4- Tie them in the back when going out or with friends because spread doesn't look very good from behind (at least in my opinion). I follow a Hinduist girl called Ma Nithya Swarupapryia who has dreads and she does it beautifully but l don't know how she looks from behind, probably not that good, but again it's just my opinion.
I think cutting them different lengths will definitely add flow/zen.... once they are layered I don't know if the loose hair in the back will look out of place anymore... it will just all flow :-)

Happy Thoughts being sent your way!!

I think the layers is a good idea. I swear by a microfiber towel. So amazing for getting moisture out of hair.

Yes, where did you get that dress. I love it!

Can’t wait to see more videos about it!
I think you should keep it! It’s absolutely beautiful but also do what makes you comfortable 💐🌙✨😍
I think it would look really nice if you 'loosely' dread the back a bit, so there's still some hair in between so it looks dreaded, but also incorporates some loose hair and maybe not so uniform and contrasts so much with the loose hair in the front. I randomly ended up in your channel (when you removed your dreads) and I saw this update. Im early!
Yaaay. Subbed. Gonna be getting dreads as well for the first time EVER. So excited to try them out. Already ordered and everything, just waiting for them to get made/shipped. Ahhhhh!!! :D
PS - You're beautiful.
I think different lengths would look awesome :)
oh my gosh your makeup looks gorgeous😍😭
Thank you love ❤

I love it so much, if you like it you should rock it.
You look incredible with dreadlocks.

I'm glad your leaving some loose hair in the front, I really like that look

Sorry I meant to say goddess locks
Not 'loss'

Dreads like yours are my goal!

I do like the loose softer front you've done. I don't know if I'd cut the lengths.
When you can’t decide on a n y t h i n g
Where did you get your dreads made? I also live in Denmark (Korsør) and i cant find a place where they do dreadlocks 🖤🖤
Layers would be super cool (like everyone ellse has said lol) the shortest being the one you put in like two days ago and the longest maybe a few centimeters shorter than they are now? I love that dress, where is it from?
It is from Nobody's child 😊

Nice, looks good on you!
Loving this. Deffo thinking of partial dreads x
ouh i did not even know your doing videos in youtube :D been actually following you in instagram quite long time.
I think it is really awesome like that! Keep it!
My fringe is going wild too. Thinking about adding more locks again
Wow, I LOVE your hair & dreads sooo much please don't do anything to it!!!! I WISH my hair looked like yours. Idk why but it was so cute when she said
" if you can see my undies" 😂❤❤
I would not cut them, unless you don’t mind losing the tail at the end. Yes you can try to make the tip look the same, but it’s almost impossible (I’ve tried several times). If you do decide to cut and mimic the ends, pls show and tell us how you did it 😊
Hi Hi Elise. Love love love everything you do. I cant wait to see what you are up to next! The hair around your face is lovely. Maybe just cut a few three inches shorter. No matter what it will be beautiful!!!!!! Happy weekend.
Is it harder to find a job with dreads??
How did you brush them out??? I would have to cut them out.
I wouldn’t cut, but maybe make the top layer of dreads more natural or a bit shorter?
Honestly, just leave it the way it is, is my opinion :) It is so wild and beautiful, such a lovely color.. if it were mine, I wouldn't change a thing!
I would definitely cut some dreads! It would look more natural. Maybe just a few pieces in the front though and leave the back long? Haha
where did you get that dress!?!?!?!?
It is from Nobody's Child 😊❤
Does anyone know how long can you keep dreadlock extensions in for?
It depends on both the extensions and how you take care of them 😊
Elise Buch ohh I see . Because I have dreads but I want to make them longer in the future .
I started with 7 dreads, then decided i had too much loose hair so I did another row ending with 13, it would be 15 but I didn’t want the hair in front of my ears done. They are definitely beautiful no matter what you do with them. I use Tropiclean shampoo made from essential oils.
I really like them all tbe same length. Maybe the different lengths could come in with the loose hair
Love that dress!
Thank you, me too ❤
Yes, you need to shorten many of them to make layers. They don't really look natural as they are.
I think if your going to cut a few, only take an inch or 2 difference. And see how you like it 😊💚✌🌻
Beautiful dreadlocks 👍😍
Thank you ❤
I think it would look nice if you cut some dreads shorter and layer it ❣️
I will definitely do so, I just need a helping hand with it :)
You can dread yourself AND see what you are doing by using a normal bathroom mirror and another one on wheels - like you would use for getting dressed. I have cut my own hair with this setup.
I think if you just dreaded your natural loose hair it would create cute layers ❤️
My dear Elise,
I've been watching your dreadlock videos for years and years! I have partials that are going on four years! I'm not sure what to do this loose hair at this point.. I love your channel as inspiration. It's hard to find people to chat about OLD partials! What are your opinions on partials vs full headed locs? With you experience? Thanks peace and love!
Becouse of you I want to buy the dress! But is is very see through? Or is it okay?
Free Mind Free Soul is there a link to this dress somewhere?!
Kati Sinsabaugh on her Instagram! 😘
I think you should cut and layer your dreads!
I wish I could have long hair again. I think you should just do whatever you want, but I liked it when you dyed it green.
I would wait to cut them! You haven't gotten to the shrinking phase yet!
Ask a professional to dread the back.
There are also hair dryers that use cold air.
Dreading more yes! Cutting some, sure. They do look so stiff 😕
Just do it!!! Whatever u really want !!!
I have a question, what do you mean that your dreads are sticky. Thanks:)
Yves zusje I’m wondering if she means stiff
Exactly 🤣
Elise Buch 😂♥️
Savannah Wheeler 😂
put braids in your short hair, maybe french braiding
andrea b that'll look soo good for the summer
I like it
Could dread into little dreads
When your dreads are pushed back over your shoulders with just your natural hair showing at the front it looks much nicer. The dreads look nice when you have them up on top of your head
I got dreads too and i have it in a mohawk "shape" need 10 cm of hair to get them done on the sides. gotta grow that out. :p
I think you should use a Red Henna Dye on your dreads , I love the idea of cutting your dreads
I love having my natural haircolor 😊 Henna is beautiful tho
Beauty ❤️
Do what you like it's your hair but I personally would dread the rest of your head. Only certain people can pull off the partial look but I don't like it on you, but as I said it's your hair if you like it; keep it
I shave of my hear, but your hair make you shine as a sun. The dress make you to a angel and I suppose I leave you there with a kiss
I think it’s too much loose hair which makes it look so weird
Kan du sælge flere ting på din depop? ☺️

Your so sweet. I had to subscribe :P 🔔▶✔💜👍
Rimelig modigt du kan lave dreads. De er flotte. I love them 😍 suits you 😊🙂🤗

I recommend brushing them out. You have such pretty hair color and brushing them will show that
no thanks :)
Randomlittlevideos Why would she brush them out? She just got them.
On a daily basic? Cute...
