Seems like a good time to discuss what I love about being on the spectrum. I feel like I always hear the the bad parts about being on the spectrum but I actually love some many things about it. What do you love about being on the spectrum?

We sure are! Until we're not lol
The additional challenges that we experience on the spectrum can make us so much more appreciative and work so hard to make the world a better place. I love how wise, philosophic and insightful my autism makes me because I think more deeply and allow myself to process things more carefully, even though it takes longer.

I generally have a hard time feeling proud or excited or special about any of my personality traits but I can identify with being quite non-judgemental as well as empathetic, and how I’m content to be just by myself and don’t need outside entertainment.
Yes it was hard for me to think about the good things but I’m glad that I did
I totally love your list, it could be my list. Every video is a masterpiece. I wouldn't trade my autism for anything. Let's face it, autistics are the best 😊

I like a couple things about my autism. One is that I am good at getting the right gifts for others. I watch others giving what appears to be a random gift to someone when mine are spot-on and just what they want or need. I frequently get "how did you know!?" It's because I pay attention to my relationships with people, and truly think about who they are and their situation or preferences in life. I also don't tend to give when society tells me I should; I give gifts when I want to or have a great idea for a gift. Adults shouldn't rely on Santa or holidays for things they want. Kids can't get what they want, but adults can. A gift from me is warranted by me and means more, and I can tell my gifts are appreciated.
Another thing I like about my autism is my ability to recognize famous faces, voices, and song styles. I don't like how distracting it is during movies to fixate on whose voice is behind that cartoon character, for instance, but the skill is impressive and helpful sometimes.
I love giving special gifts too! I’m pretty good at finding the right one that my friends will like too
I agree with much of this, especially being able to see patterns, my passion for my special interests, as well as being part of the adult ASD community. Three additional things I love about my autism are the abilities with numbers that my autism has given me, my ability to recall things, especially random facts and songs, and my contrarian manner of thinking.

Thank you for being you ,it's really hard for me to be myself all of the time having PTSD along w very high anxiety and depression but it's always good to see you , you really brighten my day 💜💜
I find it so easy to pick out the bad things about my situation but I think it’s important to practice mindfulness and dwell on the good things too :)
I love learning about all things in the greatest detail as well. Seeing patterns others don't is always fun, it has served me well in every job I've had.
I love that I can be direct, open and honest. (Can because it is my only option) I love how empathetic I am. I love how much I love all forms of diversity.
I love that I can think and learn about how I think and feel. How I can improve myself.
I really love stimming. My most annoying stims are singing/humming/beatbox/etc. but need not do them when it would bother someone. I have learned to define stimming very broadly. Walking and the physical part of my job are both stims to me now.
I love that I can be happy being me and have others happy I'm me as well.
Lastly, I love to be part of a community who shares some of the love of these things.

Ive got to embrace tje difference amd the awkwardness when you foght it geys worse. It just i was diagnosed so late. I totally believe we have pushed knowlede forward' i think wed still be in the dark ages without unreasonable autistics in both science and politics' yeah for us. Great video

I would love to find other autistic adults in real life but we're not organized in many ways over here ;) - midwest, USA.
r u in the US or Canada? the rumors in the internet hallways r that Canada seems to be more up to date with females and autism, undiagnosed adults, etc. and has groups and such. sounds cool and nice. :) haha simple adjectives can be funny sometimes.
