Thanks for the content. I like you used these clippers instead and the other more expensive sets. Would like to see more affordable brands on your channel.
You can do it either way. The concept is the same. I used to do it the way you mentioned but I’ve been doing it my way for years now. To me it makes it easier to get clean guidelines and stay organized but at the end of the day you’re using the same steps/levels either way. It’s just two ways of solving the same problem. If you ask 10 different barbers, you’ll get 10 different techniques. My advice is to try several different methods until you find the one that feels best to you. The exact order of steps doesn’t matter as much as each barbers comfortability with the method. Try my way, but use trial and error to find out what works best for you!
The concept, for either way is the same though: Go up one level, fade it out. Go up another level, fade it out. Go up another level, fade it out etc. The more you do it the more it’ll make sense and the less you’ll have to think about the steps while you’re doing them.
@@jacobluendu thanks a lot man.. this is very hard and confusing for someone who just started it, sometimes 1 open just wont cut so I'll try close then try to figure out how to fade it
Does anyone know how to fix or diagnose the trimmers, I dropped my black obsidian trimmers while packing and its now making loud noises and it doesnt cut hair
You can use most guards. Wahl guards fit on them, JLR guards fit, most guards fit on them. The only ones I’ve seen that are a different size are Andis guards.
I bought these and the Babyliss LoPROFX at the same time and they smoked Babyliss ass hands down. In all ways don’t get me wrong I had the blade on my Suprent sharped and had them two days before Babyliss but the couldn’t cut through bulk good with out having to wiggle them I’m sure true barbers understand what I’m saying. The trimmer on the Babyliss was snagging my clients and they all said what the fuck. But the Suprents was good I had them touched up but you know Babyliss is you know ✌🏽supposed to be it out the box. Now sad to say I kept the Babyliss cause it’s a 43% restock fee so I said shit I’m better off keeping them. But Babyliss got good ideas but the LoProFX should be discontinued. I’m a at home barber I do damn well for myself in my basement that looks just like a barber shop. With social media I make it happen. Soon I’ll be doing my TH-cam. A lot of these barbers don’t keep it G cause they get free shit but that’s corny if you ask me. Suprents is coming up in the game they just need to focus on their blades now.🫡🤫
I’m not surprised! Yea I was genuinely impressed with the Suprents. Babyliss can be hit or miss for sure. At that price point they shouldn’t miss as much as they do
