So I just wanted to say to anyone seeing this comment... Always give our truck driver's love and respect. They are the reason we have food in our belly, clothes on your back and just about everything else you use daily. So give them the room on the roads and a friendly wave.maybe even pay for their coffee whenever possible. They are the reason we have what we have.

Amen to that brother. I was OTR for 45 years and even though I'm now retired..5 years now, I have the highest respect for the drivers that made it past a trainer. Not so much for the " truck killers" that go around murdering and maiming trucks in the truckstops and customers lots. They should've never been passed and the trainer should be busted back to a trainee his self. I wouldn't have known how much of this truck bashing goes on had the dash cams not come along. From the videos I've seen its even worse in other countries. But I stand by you in saying that most drivers deserve a lot of respect for the job they do. It's an incredibley hard way to make a living! You have to love it....you can't just do it for a paycheck😎🇺🇸

Also, don't forget railroad workers. Much of the freight moves long haul via the railroads.

Not just them, give everyone working long and hard jobs like trucking, railroading, and more love and respect. Trucking wouldn't be here if we didn't have railroaders because trucking is fueled by railroads hauling materials to be loaded onto trucks and then delivered across the nation(s)

In all my years of driving in Australia I never left home in a dirty truck. First thing when I would get home was to wash & then do maintenance.

I recently acquired my dream 84 peterbilt 362 previous owner had custom ordered. It has a NTA 855 cummins, 15 speed trans, with streached fifth wheel original PTO attached to the fuel tank this truck was truly designed as a one-of-a-kind. After sitting for 12 years with no attention because the gentleman had passed away I acquired this truck and to my surprise after changing the batteries it fired right up like it never sat there. I'm almost done with the new tires new turbo things that I wanted to upgrade before putting it on the road but I have to say respect to you and what you're doing to your vehicle.

When I got into trucking in 1987 I learned a lot from my uncle Check who was an O/O in the first few years I learned more from older drivers. I did what I could to pass on knowledge to rookies drivers. Most listened some didn't.

You’re doing well...good job paying attention to many details. You’re right...some people like the action and sounds...others, who knows, but that’s what trucking involves...sounds and action. I like your text comments and verbal input as well...narration. We can’t always tell where you’re at on the road. Some of us pay attention to locations and others could care less...it is what it is, right! Just do your thing. I love a drop deck/step deck. I’ve never pulled one though. I’ve only pulled a flatbed and box trailers. Good points about the chains and binders. Thanks for taking us along with ya! God bless ALL of our truckers! Make the trip and enjoy the ride! 😎

He's a thorough cat like yourself. Keep the Truck vids coming and old hotrod stuff is very cool as well.

Neat that your company lets you run an older piece of equipment. So many want a newer truck with huge payments instead of an older well maintained truck.
So give the company a plug. Maybe some other guys would like to be with them, not me. Retired and at 74 not ready to truck anymore except in my dreams, still run a lot of miles at night LoL

definitely got air in the fuel system looking at your fuel pressure gauge going back n forth, worth cracking the line on the back of the gauge while it's running to bleed it and see if that sorts it out, or it will tell you your drawing air into the fuel system when parked.

You've got good movie making skills. I like your trailer mounted cameras. Do dealers sell all their HEMETTs? What do people want them for or do foreign armies buy them?

Love your videos as much as I love your old Pete, are those Hemmit trucks new or refurbished? Thanks.

It came from Oshkosh Truck. This one is titled 2020, but I think its refurbished at a high level. I could be wrong though.
