Scorpion lord gave me nightmares on my first run. He was way too tough for me it took lots and lots of tries to get used to his attack. I find him difficult than both Erlang and Great sage on my first run. Luckily got him on first try on both ng+ and ng++ and I am so looking forward to try him on ngl+++. I might try some of the methods you used in this video, especially the counters. Another excellent video.
Thanks man. but honesty the reason i did this fight alot is mostly because i just cant get his timings down consistently and that kinda annoyed me. I had a ton of attempts much cleaner but then i would get caught in one of his attack in the end. I think my first starter weapon fight is cleaner then this one and im not really improving that much. He properly also the worst boss so far were my input just doesnt register sometimes, And properly my biggest issue with this boss. Like when does that triple tail swing in the air, you can counter the third one. But half the time it just doesnt register my light attack so my character starts the heavy attack instead and i get hit. I know im complaining alot, i do like the boss alot but i just hope this input stuff is something they can fix cause its just the worst. And i dont even know if its only a ps5 issue but i kinda hope so.
@@StaggerTime i also have some input issues on PC with an XBOX Controller. The weirdest one is, he sometimes just stops whirling the staff, when he should do it as long as i press the button and have stamina
@@s.a.r.o.c man that's a shame to hear, i like this game alot but it really drags the game down. and yeah if you mean the thing you can do after a tactical retreat. one thing that is also pretty frustrating about that ability is if you choose controls option A which is default, you cant really switch between tactical retreat and whirling the staff like you can easily do with controller option B. the inputs are really hard and awkward to do with controller option A if you wanna do it several times in a row.
here is a link to the exact same fight posted directly from my ps5 and it has no flickering Link: th-cam.com/video/B-F3iK7CKIs/w-d-xo.html i haven't even noticed the flickering when uploading, and for some reason it only seem to be happening doing my scorpion lord fights, although i haven't checked all my runs or anything. but there is two scenarios i think that could be causing it 1. all the fight i have done against scorpion lord is on Balance mode, as ps5 performance mode has really bad input lag. so the fight is only 40fps and a 1080p, but i export all my runs at 4k 60fps, even if they aren't. 2. on all the fights i have done on balance mode i enable something called Optical drive when exporting it. which as far as i understand adds frames and makes it smoother. but i don't really know technical stuff like that. but even if you look at it, what kind editing could i do that would make the heath bar and stamina flicker that would actually benefit my run?
if you are gonna imply im cheating cant you at least be more specific? at what point am i using a resource that nullify attack? if you mean when using the gourd, its it for soak buffs and some gourds can also give you a big Dmg boost.

Thanks man and yeah he's really tricky and the boss i struggled the most with so far, when in comes to landing perfect Dodges.

how many times you tried to achieving this clip? dude that was awesome.. you use all resource like nullify attack to pretend not to getting hit 😮
