Hi TEC, id like to use this pinned post as a place to give my advice for grinding the air tasks, particularly with base bombers, as this is likely to be seen by more people and as such more people will be able to have less stress while grinding. If that is not allowed, then please do let me know and ill delete this from the pinned post ASAP. aside from that, happy holidays to you and to all seeing this! The following is a reply I made to someone asking for advice on base bombing load, slightly edited to be more generalized as I think this is solid advice for everyone grinding the air plane tasks, mainly in Air Realistic Battles: in terms of bomb load, if you select a bomb loadout and look at its stats, there should be a estimated base damage and a listed reward multiplier, what I do is take the smallest bomb load that is capable of destroying a base, as those have the biggest reward multiplier, the multiplier goes from 1 to 10, with 10 being best and 1 being lowest. (listed damage needed for a single base at high tier is around 23-24,000, mid tier is around 10,000, and if I remember correctly, low tier is 5,000. but this all doesn't take into account that a base will destroy itself when you do like 90% of the damage to a base, so keep that in mind when making a loadout) the reason you would want to take as small of a load as you can is for a few reasons, 1:if you have a lot of big bombs, the reward multiplier goes down, meaning that while you could take 2 bases instead of 1, each base is worth noticeably less. 2: bombs weigh you down and slow you down, meaning that its harder to take off and get to speed, so there is a solid chance that you wont even be able to reach the bases before your team mates do. 2.5: if you take a lighter bomb load, you are able to do more evasive maneuvers without having to ditch the load, to add to that, you are faster, so there is a fair bit less chance of being intercepted before reaching the base, now granted, there is also the possibility of you being ahead of the pack means you are likely first to be intercepted before reaching a base, but that, in my experience, is less common. (this next one is more leaning towards high tier combat, but can still be applied at low & mid tiers with some aircraft) 3: taking a lighter bomb load means often means you have more room for air to air combat weapons, as well as the speed and maneuverability for air to air combat, which means you can help your team more effectively and get some extra mission points by shooting down enemy players
@ much older, some of the very first event vehicles have never been re released, this has lead to a higher price. My point is that I purchase only event vehicles I want and when they are first up for sale on the market. After about a month or two the price either skyrockets or declines... good news, seems like Gaijin is starting to re release old vehicles
@@mig1nc Usually it takes 2-5 years for vehicles to reach that level. I waited 2 years to sell the T-10A for $25. Now it's $78. So that's where my "2 to 5 years" statement comes from On the flipside, vehicles are almost always at their cheapest 2 months after coming out on the market

To all the sim grinders that are just casuals jumping in from RB, it is easier to get score in RB with how fast the matches at top tier istead of slugging against people who breath and live for sim
It definetively becomes a sport to compete for getting the most zomber kills between me and my friends when events saturates air sim match finding. Finding F-111s has become a bit of a periodical specialty this last year.
There is no way you complete the stage faster in RB. I mean if you get a lot of kill most of the match maybe. But let me tell you rocketing airfields with the f-111 in SM and you done the stage one and a half max two hour. And its very chill.
Easily? You got a life? How can you play so much war thunder and having a family? What kind of work do you have so you can be home the whole day and create war thunder videos?
Warthunder is a major portion of his life, the amount of videos he puts out in addition to how frequently he streams indicates this. If you have a family and/or career, it's not feasible grinding out these events.
Most people work a job. In his case, this is his job. So take an 8 hour workday, 6 for playing and 2 for editing vids. That’s a lot of progress playing 6 hours a day.
Mirage 10c is super under rated. No flares sucks, but the flight performance is so cracked you can just soar above the enemy and get 2 guaranteed magic kills.
So for the light research i have done the t80ud for China should ne more unique. Thus block use a new engine which has 18km reverse speed, and use Chinese darts not Russian. Pakistan did a test and compare 3bm42 against china and china darts won.
I have to admit that I like using old low tier event vehicles in these events as every thing else has a limit of rank 3 and I never really used them. And to be fair low tier battles just seem more of a battle because you don't get people dying once then quitting in ground RB. But air RB I tend to play Su-8 (plenty of ammo to ground pound) or F4D-1 (she fast, 4 missiles and some rockets too).
I would say the t-90 because maybe less people will grind it so after the event more ppl will want it, and the kfir it will be more common because it's almost a top tier free.
Great and fun planes but nothing beats F-4 phantom sim Airfield bombing. Whole stage done in 1 hour amd 30 mints , the I can fly and have fun with other planes in rb
@sameer5634 I've been playing almost every day since 2014. I still have not done the sim tutorial lmao Edit: I like the F4S but it's been struggling for many months because almost every single game is a full 1.0 up tier and you just see F14s
I feel like since the coupons are much easier this event, there will be a higher chance of the vehicles showing up on the market for a lower cost. But I'll keep the advice in mind for future events where I really want the vehicle and that isn't the case.
Is there any update on them fixing the irst issue with the English and Italian euro fighters where it randomly turns on and off while not selecting it ?
The timing limitations for the winter event are pretty shitty to me. While I'd like to grab a couple of the vehicles I won't be bothering due to the time demands and limited windows involved.
I'm doing 8.3 britain and its decent if you lock in and i did half the mark in 1hour 30 minutes so yeah 10.7 britain isn't doing so good so i went with the 8.3 line up
None of these tips matter if gaijin’s servers keep fucking crashing. Haven’t been able to stay in a match for more than 20 minutes before the server disconnects everyone

I took a look at the Jag's bomb options, id say you should create a custom load out with a mix of big and small bombs, its a bit of and experimentation process, but the goal is to get the damage to be as close to, but not bellow 23,000, while maximizing the multiplier, id like to note aswell that rockets can damage bases and thus can be thrown in to get you close as possible, sadly I don't have any jaguars so I cant be 100% exact in a specific loadout that maximizes the multiplier, what I can tell you (if I did this correctly) is this: each 1000 lb. bomb does 5,278 base damage each 540 lb. bomb does 2,897 base damage each CRV M247 rocket pod contains enough rockets for a total of 2,007 base damage each SNEB type 23 rocket pod contains enough rockets for 660 base damage after that its a matter of mix n matching with some math, create multiple different loadouts and pick the one that gives the highest multiplier while being as close to, but not bellow 23,000 base damage. then take it out into a test flight with the option for "target training rank" set to high, that way you can test the loadout on the bases in said test flight to make sure that it will destroy a base. oh, and don't forget to have the air to air missiles, and maybe the chaff pod I hope this helps!

Lmao it would be nice if they added large pve games like heli pve. Dynamic objectives for air and ground. I agree after a while it becomes bland. I would also like to see RBEC air become a mode like sim in the sim drop down tab.

Ill use the ef 2000 and mig 23 mla to grind the kfir c10. The ef 2000 is now one of the best top tier planes and i love flying out the mig 23 mla.

I will be using my Tornado IDS WTD61 and bomb bases. You are almost guaranteed to get 2 bases easily. You wont fight F14s which is amazing
Just use f4 phantom in sim to bomb airfield , it's by far the 2nd fastest way , the 1st one is to use f111 in same role

Thats some weird fantasy. phantoms and F104 will always outrun you. Even with bombs only for 1 base. 1 in 3 games you get to bomb

That thing is slow as balls, you'll be beaten to bases a lot.
