We just played the new expansion. I love the base game, but wow so I love this expansion. It does exactly what an expansion should do; adds loads of exciting new game play without over complicating the rules. I think this one was spot on.
OH! That's a tough choice. I really enjoyed playing with all the modules. But, if I had to pick one. Probably the Fall Fruit Module, I really like the new board and the nectar layout with fruit. And it just expands the market. More options. And more job cards.

@@Slyfox1775 Oh! Great question. It's funny, I didn't even notice the game length I was having such a good time. So it don't feel like it added any notable extra time to play.
@@mstreed No biggie, we all make mistakes. It's just in Honey Buzz, the way you build the hive is one of the most interesting and intense parts of the game (beyond the way actions are triggered), so it's not something a person who's had this burned in their brain after a few games is likely to miss. Surprised when I came here and there weren't a zillion comments noticing that. :D
@@yolohozo sounds like you have a game you might want to design in there somewhere. In this game, the bees do collect leaves, because they like to decorate their hive during the fall. If you’re talking about the leaves on the coins, I can explain. These are actually a currency that the bears and bees use (as they have just discovered economics). It’s not actual leaves and feathers and bear paws. Rather it’s a wooden currency shaped in those ways. All the best to you.
I think it will end up being worth it, looking at the deluxe expansion theres a lot of acrylic pieces and the wax caps seem cool. Also there’s a fall cornucopia box they are giving for free with it which they haven’t said what’s in that yet but hopefully something significant. With that being said we all know how hard honeybuzz was to get after the original Kickstarter and that caused it to be worth way more money so I would assume the same thing is gonna happen here.
Anyone commenting on the price tag needs to understand and remember that the price of all games is going up. The covid shipping crisis is causing all companies to have to increase the price of games to offset the massive spike in shipping costs. This has recently been brought up by numerous voices in the industry, by both content creators and game companies. Expect to see a lot more of this occurring in the market.

People underestimate the cost of deluxe components, and often forget that these things aren’t “necessary.” They are amazing and of course we all want them, but at the end of the day, the base pledge is still reasonable if you don’t want to pay for the deluxe version. And Elf Creek games still set a high benchmark for production quality in those retail pledges. Thanks Paul, love your game!

Real issue is that this game is still a challenge to get your hands on and they are already running a new expansion. ...
The second printing is on a boat, and everything is available through this campaign. We printed a lot of copies, but we sold out. Frankly, it stung.

Retail pledge comes with great components and is $29. I hope that doesn't feel out of whack.
