One of the biggest mistakes I made was staying in a relationship with my high school boyfriend way too long. Things got really messy, difficult, and our relationship ended very abruptly and in a harsh way. I wish we would have left on better terms, but the death of that relationship severed ties in our hearts forever. But, despite the mess I contributed to, God used it for good as the years went on. Biggest mistake... Not listening. Not listening to Good advice... allowing external influence to come between my relationship with God. The good is God still loves me and it's never to late to start listening to Jesus.
I think all of us, including Adam and Eve, would say that whatever mistakes we made, it was those same circumstances. Not listening to God, allowing external influences to cause doubt, fear, and confusion…..all of us have struggled with that same process; including Adam and Eve. Sometimes it’s comforting to know we aren’t alone. And it’s even more comforting to know God’s love never fails even when we make mistakes. 🩷
