      Thank you for your comment :) Yes, they are so very expensive. I'll be selling dresses soon and even my dresses will be expensive it's crazy! I think everyone should be making their own pule dresses and keep their money in their pockets!

    First off Thank you for your easy to follow videos, you have inspired me to start learning how to sew 😊 just a quick question ... is there any disadvantage to making a pattern with the seam allowance included to save time adding it to each garment you make?

    • @puledressdesigns
      @puledressdesigns  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I apologize for the late reply. What a sweet comment thank you so much! Everyone has their own preference when it comes to adding SA, some will add it after drafting their patterns and others will add it after tracing their pattern onto fabric. A book I read when I started sewing said that you should add it after tracing it onto the fabric because it will be much more accurate and precise than any other method, and so I've always done it this way. I hope I answered your question, let me know if you have any more questions.

    Loved your approach. Only thing that I didn't understand is the darts. It seems to me that you measured the Finished darts from the already made dress therefore the dress you are making is going to be smaller and tighter in those areas. Thank you.

      I apologize for the late reply! You are correct, thank you for bringing that up. I will need to remake another video on this topic or else everyone will be mad at me for their puletasis not fitting properly. Thanks for the love and for the comment!

      Hi I apologize for the late reply but I've purchased almost all of my materials from Samoa and maybe 2 or 3 of them from Hawaii.
