@@asscher10 Brent is almost 20 years older. So yes, his voice is an octane lower..I want to see you go on tour 200-300 shows a year, and still sound as amazing as he does. I've heard Brent sound worse. I've seen him perform when he was drugged out and drunk. His voice now has never been better.
@@samanthamiller5099 if he can't reach the higher notes anymore, if his voice is an octave lower, it's not as powerful as back in 2003. Period. lol I'm not questioning his vocal quality tho.
@@asscher10 power in a voice is not equal to high notes/octaves. I've seen him belt out songs with not only Shinedown, but also Smith and Myers , live in concert. In my opinion, his voice is just as powerful, if not better than what it used to be. Again, 2003 Brent and 2021 Brent are 2 different aged people who aren't going to sound the same.
Definitely not what it was back in 03. But it’s not that far off, either. For his age and able to perform and sound like that? Amazing. He has always been sooooo underrated, IMO. I’ve seen him perform a lot worse. He looks good and healthy. This is the best they’ve sounded in well over 10+ years.
