      I just wish anyone advertising for _any_ VPN would stop saying that it's "without data logging" (or "zero-logs" or however one may phrase it) - because that is simply false. There isn't a single VPN provider who doesn't maintain _some_ logs, the question is more what is logged and how long those logs are kept.
      Sure, it's probably the single most sought-after criterium for choosing a VPN, so admitting that one indeed does keep _some_ logs when all those others keep lying is bad PR, but at least it wouldn't be _misleading_ advertising...

    If you like cave builds, I would like to make a video suggestion. There is a mod called Stray's Living Caves. This mod adds five caves to the game that can be built in. They range in size from very tiny, to reasonably large. I'd love to see what you can do with them.

    There is a great player cave for building a small home in.
    Its located at L8 on the map.
    Just look where the water is shaped like a small slanted wish bone. It's at the top of the wish bone shape.
    Just don't mistake it for the larger wish bone shaped water to the far right of it located at M7.
    It can also be found in-between the Ruined Outpost and Tailer's Berth in the jungle.
    When you get to the cave a large snake will pop up out of the water but once you start building there it will not return.
    You can put foundations in it and place walls and a door over the entrance.
    You can also fit a lot of things in it.
    It's basically a dome shaped cave inside with plants that you can harvest.
    It's high enough to fit 2 or 3 elephants in it and wide enough to fit 4 or 5 rinos in it placed side by side.

    I really like these builds. I would never have thought of building in the Shattered Springs, due to the toxic gas and the constant need to wear the mask. I like the look of the cave, right behind where you built the house. I'd probably have built in there. Using the Aquilonian blends in rather well with the white stone of the surrounding area. Still, the build you did looked really nice.
    The build under the tree was also very good. The insulated wood looked really nice with the natural bark of the tree. I wonder if it would make it too warm, though. Do material types still add heating or cooling factors?
    I REALLY liked the tiny cave house in the north. That was my favorite of the three. I've looked at that cave many times and wondered if someone could actually build a base in it, given how small it is. There is more room in there than I thought. I do wonder if a second story could be squeezed in there, however. I'm going to have to try it sometime. I'm good with tiny spaces. There is a really small cave under one of the aqueducts. I managed to put something like a four or five story build in there, though the rooms were VERY small and crammed in all the basic crafting stations. Blacksmith, furnace, carpentry, armor, tannery, firebowl, press, and even an artisan's bench. I had a Stygian cot on the very bottom along with a basic campfire for cooking. It was tight, but it worked. I also crammed a three story build- with 2 furnaces, carpentry, armor, large campfire, torturer's bench, blacksmith dryer, firebowl, freezer, and three artisan benches (Aquiloniaqn, Khitan, and normal), plus a living space with 2 Stygian cots, dining area, personal storage, some deco items, and a small storage room- all into the tiny cave behind the waterfall in the desert near Mitra's. Again, it was tight, but cozy and it worked. So, I think I might be able to do something with that tiny northern cave. :-)
    I've only recently found your channel. So far, I am really enjoying it. I think I said this before on a previous video, but I enjoy the builds, plus, your voice is very pleasant to listen to. Your diction is very good and you speak in such a calm manner. None of the overemphasized excitement that so many TH-camrs use. Also, the speed at which you speak is perfect, not too slow, and not too fast.
    Thanks for making these.

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the in-depth feedback my guy, I really do enjoy reading the more analytical comments. Regarding the build under the tree, armour still does effect your temperature, though I normally don't wear any armour, just a modded skin for the Legion armour, therefore I can't confirm whether it'd be too warm.
      The Shattered Springs base is probably my least favourite because its not all too integrated into the environment, but it is useful considering any attackers also have to plan how to attack the build due to its decent positioning and having to wear the mask. The cave is probably my favourite. You might be able to squeeze a second floor in, but it might not be worth it.
      I'm glad you enjoyed the video though. I often find myself talking too fast so I have to deliberately slow myself down during recording. I do misspeak quite often though, but editing helps to get rid of that

    As far as small bases being practical, the devs and modders make it harder and harder to get by with just a small base. They keep adding more and bigger workstations to the game that have to go somewhere, or forego the game feature. Recently, as we all know, they added a stable and a saddler's worktable to tame and outfit horses with. Yes, you can play the game without a horse, but you miss out on part of the fun of the game. If you want to have a pet you've got to have a huge animal pen. If you want to be able to teleport you've got to have a huge map room. If you want to have thralls you've got to have a wheel of pain and a torturer's worktable. The altars to the various gods provide useful benefits but each take up a lot of space. So do the vault and the large well. Some of the workstations are also slow at crafting certain items and it becomes useful to have more than one, in particular furnaces and firebowl cauldrons. DLCs tend to add additional workstations. Mods like Age of Calamitous add even more space requirements. The more you play the game the less a small base becomes viable, even for a single person, except as an outpost. It's still possible to start with a small base, but then you have to have a courtyard or similar protected outdoor area where you can put all the overflow, and then your base likely isn't stealthy any more.

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah its the same for most survival games I think, especially Conan and Ark. You will have to give up some game features, but to me, there is something quite nice about a tiny base. Then again, anything is better than the usual PvP box builds

    I have an idea for a build you could maybe work on if you get inspired ! It's a decently big cave located in the swamps on the north east side of the map, actually pretty close to the first house of this video. It's located on tile L9 of the map (slightly east of the center) and "guarded" by a giant anaconda. If you struggle to find it... well there is a guy that did a build on it on TH-cam but I don't wanna promote someone else on your channel. Let's just say it won't be too hard to find if you search for swamp cave bases :) Curious to see if you'll consider it, I'm sure there are very nice things to do but I don't have your imagination.

    • @gamerguyraigh7473
      @gamerguyraigh7473 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is that the cave that looks small until you get inside and really look around? The one with the water in it? That's a nice cave. And if it is, then I probably know the other channel you are referring to. Does he specialize in PvP builds?

    • @FyuyuR
      @FyuyuR 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it has water in it and a few of those little blue glowing seaweeds, forgot the exact name. I agree it's a nice cave and more roomy than you'd think at first glance. If it weren't so secluded and if there were more valuable resources around I'd prob'ly make it my main base, but its only real good point is it's close to an obelisk. But since Eradicati0n is a PvE builder it's more about esthetics and I think he might actually like the place.
      And yes I'm pretty sure his builds are PvP since he dedicates a whole part of his vids to testing a raid on the build he made.
