- The pole barn addition shell is complete. The contractor starts trenching for water and electricity. Hilarie and I move piglets out to pasture, and shuffle the breeding pigs to different pens in the barn.

Best Channel on TH-cam hands down. You the man Pete.
Pete, I just appreciate the way you treat your animals and the way you run your farm. The animals are well taken care of and you have a profitable farm, you are an example for me!
Top of the morning everyone! Already liked before I even watched because Pete and Hillary never disappoint!❤
I find myself doing the same thing and then I’m disappointed that I can’t do it again after I have seen it. I wanna double like the videos 😅
Hi Pete. I have been watching your channel for a year now. I am not one who responds often but will do so now because I feel compelled. I am a 70 year old retired firefighter/fire protection engineer technician from two careers respectively. My boyhood past and present has always cherished living a life on a small farm, much like you show us. It’s too late for me to take up a life as you put forth for our enjoyment. I watch all the time. Yes it’s what you do that catches the attention of many of us. Don’t stop! Wish I could help out.
Always a GREAT DAY watching Hillary, & Pete & Family
It's the pig shuffle dance. Pigs swinging right, then left and back. When over, one pig isn't too happy and vocalises her disdain. Cows on the other hand seem like to be known as the pasture princesses. Regal wear of fine coats of black fur. Real beauties in their realm.
It’s a big shuffle at the farm!! Pigs didn’t want to cooperate 😂 The piglets are just beautiful, they will enjoy the fresh air!! And Billy is ready for the job 🤣💕
Yes!
JJ is too big ?😂
@@mrblackblacks9567 He's not purebred like Billy
Hi Pete - I just wanted to thank you for continuing to be an inspiration as we continue our own journey! All the best to you all.
The new barn addition looks great! Love seeing you and Hillary working together, you two make a wonderful team. Also loved seeing all the animals, especially Billy the pig, he has grown. We love seeing you interact with the animals the way you do. Thank you for taking time to make the wonderful videos we all love so much. 😊
awww love how the cows come running when he calls them
I was born and raised in the city and I've lived here all my life but I just cannot get enough of these videos. They always seem to end way too soon.
Thank you Pete... appreciate coming along ...
I just love Hilary she has such a dry sense of humour.
I love to hear baby pigs squeal, once a country gal always a country gal.
I am really amazed at how friendly your cows are, especially the bulls.
And that's no bull.
Handled frequently but you still can't fully trust the bulls
Thanks again for video. I love the piggys.God bless.
Makes me feel good watching something wholesome and enlightening.
The big shuffle for the pigs. Billy boy's finally got some company, no wonder he's all excited and breathing heavy. Brownies figuring out how to transition from pig to cougar. Piglets fixing to discover a whole new world. The monsters placing their order for their up-coming last meal.
The barn addition is looking great, that's going to make life so much easier all around.
So sorry to hear about Coco's still-born. Life delivers some hard knocks sometimes.
About time to take your right hand helper to town for some ice cream. Date night is a good thing.
I have decided that Just a few acres farm is now my number one channel,I just love it ,always really interesting, very informative, great rapport with your animals, love your SOH and your strong work ethic.Keep up the great work and the wonderful videos Pete and Hilarie.❤️❤️❤️
Love how many videos your posting so often now. Just a day in the life of the farm is entertaining to watch.
Thanks for another great farming video Pete & Hillary, my only complaint is it ended to soon 😂 I could watch farming videos like yours 24 hours a day while I recover from an accident! Thanks to all the farmers feeding to world.
me too. could watch Pete all day
Ole McDonald had a farm , with a pig pig here and a pig pig there , here a pig there a pig everywhere a pig And cows and chickens !!! Oh no ! I about forgot Ezra !!! Thank You Pete !
GOD BLESS !!!
I grew up in the country part of Connecticut (specifically Scotland, CT) & watching this channel makes me so happy and peaceful. My husband's name happens to be Pete and we love watching this channel together since he grew up on a farm down south & we're about to buy & start a farm together. This is both of our favorite channel so we're so excited to be the next generation of what Pete (this channel's creator) wants to teach the next generation. We love u Pete & Hil!
The almost daily uploads have been a blessing. Love seeing the farm come alive! Can’t wait for another farmers market video
Hi Pete - thanks for all the updates on the pole barn, loving the frequency of the videos, it makes me happy to see a new one of yours pop up. So positive and relaxing!
Dang Pete! You are doing a bunch of housekeeping! The farm is looking great. THanks for the explanation about the piglets on the same plot as last season? When the kids go off to college that drain field will dry up and you can go back to the annual rotation. Those brush piles and christmas trees past make great habitat for little critters and birds. Eventually - they return to the earth too, right. Both the little piglets were real singers! cute as buttons. Thanks for sharing Pete and Hilary ❤
Thanks Pete, thanks Hillary. Great post. Things are coming along very nicely. Well done!
Good morning Pete and Hillary😊
Hi Pete, I just love how you used a design that gets the job done, is relatively simple, and you can reuse some materials. Very practical!
Looks really good, Pete. Something to be proud of for sure. Your videos inspired me to raise our own pigs for our family, we rarely miss one. Looking forward to seeing the pig operation!
Thank you!
Such a joy to watch your videos!! Made my day after a long day at the factory!!
Good work as always Pete, as mundane as some of the tasks probably are, always enjoyable to come along for the ride!
The guys running those underground pipes brings me back to running to new fiber optic cables way back when. With Aloha...
Boy oh boy, Billy has grown up to be one handsome Hog. I can't wait to see what his offspring looks like.
Hey Pete that shiny coat has a LOT to say about how you raise your cattle ....... You're a great farmer
I enjoy your videos so much. You are lucky to have your father and wife to assist you. I raised four kids on a small farm like yours. They didn't appreciate it at the time, but they all wish they could go back to that way of life. Good Luck!
The green pastures with cows warms my heart🦋💜
Pete, (and Hilare) you are my #1 favorite channel on you tube. As such, if you run into a financial problem, (for example, recently when you lost 60 hens) I would not have a problem financially contributing to the channel. Just throwing it out there, all you need to do is ask, and I, along with (surely) others, would be willing to help.
Thanks Pete and Hilary 🙂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi from Wales 🏴 love the vlogs
Pete, I truly admire the way you prioritize animal welfare and efficiently manage your farm. Your commitment to providing proper care for your animals while maintaining a profitable operation is commendable and serves as an inspiration to me. 🐮🌾👏 I'm curious to learn more about your strategies and techniques that contribute to such success. Keep up the fantastic work!
Plenty of wood to keep you warm Pete! Thanks for another great video hope you and your family keep safe!
The pole barn addition looks great!!
The pig shuffle was always different and always loud!🐖🐗 One of those memories from my childhood that I treasure. Those calves🐄 are so adorable, but you can't get near them. I always want to rub them and tell them stories. LOL I was a very imaginative child.😊
Rain would be a nice day!
You got a good channel here Pete :) Your commentary is so funny. And Hilary’s somewhat quiet nonchalant attitude is perfect ! Lol Love your videos !
Thank you, Pete and Hillary for a lovely video. Animals do grieve, this week I have to take my dog to her last vet appointment, I'm bringing Fritz our other dog who is pretty close with her so he can see that she passed. I don't want to leave with Mimi then return without her, leaving him wondering and looking for her.
Another way to locate water is grab any golf club. Works everytime for me
lots of videos recently , sending love from scotland
Yes, you both appear to have a hard working but very peaceful lifestyle. It certainly draws me in to watch. Great video! Thanks!
Farmer from Bosnia loves your show, well done Pete!
I look all day at work to see a new video then run home open a beer and enjoy
I love the close up shots of the animals and to see how kind you are to all of them.
Pete you and Hill make a weeks worth of work in one day!! Have a great week.
I do have to say my friend, that the pressure treated tongue and groove 2x6 on the walls of the addition is one of the best choices you’ve made, not saying you’ve made any bad! 😉
Hi Pete, it's great to see the new calves arrive. You and Hilary are a great team. the barn project looks almost done. Have a great Memorial Day weekend. See you next time.
I show your videos to my grandchildren so that they can see how a real farm works. They love the piggies and the cows, my one grandson is quite taken with the tractors. When I and my husband grew up, we had families that owned farms and loved playing in the barn. Our children missed out on that farm connection although we always went to the county fair. Your videos are fantastic and it’s wonderful to have that virtual connection to share with my grandkids! Thank you
Looks like all the pigs are doing great. Great video. That's unfortunate about Coco. But like you said it's part of it. Keep up the good work.
Gm Pete fans ,,,
Barn is looking great. Thanks for sharing the update. Progress is always good.
Your interview with Kate was really great. I was so surprised. The new barn addition is looking awesome. So much going on. Poor Coco. 😢
Interview?????? Did I miss an episode?
@@ralphvelthuis2359 Thank you !!!
New barn looks so good!
Really enjoy your videos, and I can really appreciate the amounts of work that you and your wife do each day. Amazing !
Good night from Australia, good show mate.
The pig dance. New cattle barn is lookin good.
Billy has gotten big!
I feel the sincerity in all your videos and that is very special.
So sorry to hear about Cocoa's calf 😪,Hope all goes well with the other 7 and getting the pigs pregnant. The pole barn looks fantastic. Hope it works out well come winter.👍😊👍
I remember your Uncle witching our well. Must’ve been around 1972. Roy, right?
That's him, Ed! I have fond memories of your Dad building the log cabin.
Good Lord, I just gained a new appreciation for pig farmers. I love bacon but never, ever would I raise those things myself.
Glad to see you are going to utilize that dead tree as firewood. I have always cut the dead stuff for firewood first and only cut up storm damaged trees (green wood) as necessary. Has worked well for me for over forty years.
It’s nice to see a TH-camr that actually knows how to properly use a chainsaw 👍👍
Your videos are my only experience with pigs and they are so unique. The creator gave us a universe that seems to go on forever and beauty to break your heart and then there's pigs. Oh well.
Of course the weather is nice - wait a couple of weeks until you're ready to start making hay - rain, rain, and more rain.
You can never have enough firewood 🪵
I like this game of musical pigs 😊
My favorite tunnel on TH-cam.
Seus vídeos são ótimos.
Adorei a parte onde interage com os porcos.
Levei essa vida um dia com meu saudoso papai.
Sinto muita saudade!
Bons tempos, onde eu vivia, hoje sou escravo do calendário e relógio de ponto.. 😔
Abraços do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
You NEVER have too much ‘Seasoned’ firewood
Love watching your videos! It's seriously the highlight of our day!
Pete and hill love watching your videos very nice
Good morning cows .
Love your Channel. Keep it up!
Excellent video Pete :) , Hilary :) & building looks super also water pipes hook up and animals shuffling around Lol !
Work never ends on the farm
Hi Pete and Hilarie. Really enjoyed this video. Great to see things moving along on the farm. Don't you just love Spring? New calves, new grass, new leaves and blossoms on the trees and a new addition on the barn. Life is good! Breathe deep!
Definitely some dejavu here in this video.
Love watching your videos! You are so good to the animals😀
Looking good at JaFA, building is going good, piggers are going good. Cows are also...shaping up to be a good spring. Great days and see you next time!
I was just in Ithaca today. I flew in to drop off passengers and thought of you and Hill working in the beautiful country below.
Hi Pete and Hilary
Oh my goodness loved the traffic directing of the pigs, so slick that cross road part. Lot of work every where.
Wow, you folks sure are busy! “Common cows!” never gets old.
Ah Pete, I so enjoy your vids. Love seeing all the activity on the farm 🥳
Circle of life...
I am happy to see wife out and about Love Granny Oregan
I love that sound of the cattle munching on that fresh grass
Sorry to hear about the slipped calf Pete. Things happen I spose. Have a great weekend and Memorial day.
I've seen cattle farmers replace a lost calf with another, harvesting the coat from the deceased calf and putting on the newly purchased calf - likely one from a dairy, a bull calf. Sometimes the cow accepts it, sometimes not.
That was a full day, those are some Big pigs
Loved the variety in this video! I’m learning so much lately about farming from all that you’ve got going on lately. Thank you Pete for putting out such great videos and so frequently even while you’re this busy!!
