Dreary Day: Pink Makes Ep 5-25

Such a dreary day, but we showed off our pink makes anyway! Dory made McCall's 8108 a very easy one hour dress that took her 1-1/2 hours to prep and 1-1/2 hours to sew. She bought this pattern on facebook. The pretty pink tropical print fabric was $1.99 at a thrift store. It was a simple dress so she paired it with a vintage hat, gloves and necklace. We hope you like the results!
Dee made a 3/4 length sleeve jacket from Butterick 5616, a pattern she bought from JoAnn's back when you could get them on sale for $1.99. She made view D with the sleeves from view A. The pattern claims to be easy but she had some challenge with its. She did not add the pockets and there was ALOT of sewing involved. She got her pink fabric also from a thrift store.
