I grew up watching Ultraman Mebius and it made impact on the young me. The show had everything in right proportions - action, story, camaraderie, lore, connection and inclusion of showa ultras (which I absolutely loved the way this show handled them), villains and danger, good ending, good movies. Also, I certainly liked how this show handled power ups and powers in general. I will never forget the episode where Leo fight Mebius. The power of Mebius feels earned and deserved. He is shown to be a complete noob at the start so much so that his first "win" on Earth as a defender is a blunder, which he realises and the show is beautiful development of his character. He is pure of heart and this pulled him through the difficult times.
It's not exagerration if I say, Mebius is the perfect ultraman. His design is futuristic but didn't deviates from the original, it has iconic ultra color, mostly relies on techniques, actually introduces showa ultras as the series goes along, actually comes from M78 (Planet of ultra), has simple but effective upgrade forms, a special final exclusive form for movie, works for adults and childrens alike and overall perfect. This series saved Tsuburaya once more from the considered previous failure which are Nexus and Max (they're not bad, just the timing and hype is not right, resulting in unpopular series). Also don't forget it has memorable opening song.
Totally agree on the effective upgrade forms. Mebius basically enhanced what he already had going for him (Mebius Brave enhanced his Mebium Blade and thus focused more on swordplay while Mebius Burning Brave enhanced his brawling skills with additional strength while providing him with fire abilities, befitting his theme). His forms weren't so over the top as they were very believable and practical.
Agreed 100% Mebius is probably the most human Ultraman of all. I was about to give up on Ultraman after Nexus but Mebius brought back the goodness of ultraman. And yes there is no other opening song that is as of now better than the one for Mebius
Mebius has a softer heart than any other ultraman this is why he’s so special. Make no mistake he is more fierce and brave than any other as well. But he’s so gentle and kind.

Without Musashi, Cosmos would Go to the Solution of Kill Every Monster that Threatens Earth rather than Pacify them like Musashi does. Cosmos is Legitimately better at fighting without Musashi, but Musashi's Kindness and Pacifist Nature is the Reason Cosmos Wins against Chaosheader.

The main strenght of Mebius is that it felt like an old showa era show while still maintaining the new stuff.
It also helps that Mebius is in the same timeline as the Showa seasons
