It's not exagerration if I say, Mebius is the perfect ultraman. His design is futuristic but didn't deviates from the original, it has iconic ultra color, mostly relies on techniques, actually introduces showa ultras as the series goes along, actually comes from M78 (Planet of ultra), has simple but effective upgrade forms, a special final exclusive form for movie, works for adults and childrens alike and overall perfect. This series saved Tsuburaya once more from the considered previous failure which are Nexus and Max (they're not bad, just the timing and hype is not right, resulting in unpopular series). Also don't forget it has memorable opening song.

I grew up watching Ultraman Mebius and it made impact on the young me. The show had everything in right proportions - action, story, camaraderie, lore, connection and inclusion of showa ultras (which I absolutely loved the way this show handled them), villains and danger, good ending, good movies.

i love ultraman mebius series soo much and mebius is one of my most fav heisei era ultramen along with cosmos, dyna, tiga, and gaia :( i cried a lot rewatching this series at 22 years old 😭
