Back when i was still a child (kinderganden) my grandpa and mom would bought me Ultraman dvd (Tiga, Dyna, Gaia, Cosmos). I love those four Ultraman series because those four made my childhood😊
I always thought that Ultraman Zero is the beginning for the 2010 to 2021 kids to love Ultraman franchise. Ultraman Mebius is final Ultraman for the kids who grew up between 1998 to 2009. The chorus for Ultraman Mebius is the mark to say that our time has come and we trust the new generation kids to carry on. Oh, I miss my childhood life so much.
Well my final Ultraman is Ultraman Victory and then I stopped watching for a while and then I returned to watch Ultraman during Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy

Too bad Trigger isn't very good in terms of story and character. They develop Kengo a bit too late imo. Fortunately Decker is coming off very strong and very good so far, it fixes the faults I have regarding with pacing of Trigger.
Mebius is the only Ultraman that I watched, and I cried when the show ended. Ultramans live so long while their human friends would've died already after they come back again from earth. I never watched other Ultraman shows after I watched Mebius, because there's something about him that I love. The nostalgic essence of it too. I watched all of his movies, and still hoping for him to come back with his OG voice.
You should watch ultraman nexus the only ultraman to have more than one host and also the only ultraman who has side effects from using his power it makes it more heroic

Nexus was the most mindboggling ultraman show i ever completed. There's a scene where Komon got played by Faust and it TERRIFIED me as a kid. Also Komon's late crush flashbacks were equally traumatizing because back then I've never seen an actual character got killed by a monster described in a clear and explicit manner. But it still remained my favorite show because of the show's depth that'll likely be present in another ultraman series

Heisei era had a unique passion for each ultraman they released. Reiwa era has its entertaining side to it, but most of them are fusions and whatnot, so it’s not completely original. The gimmicks have made the immersion of the series much less effective, and I’m sure they’re aware of it, because their solution is just to bring back their peak ultras, like tiga dyna and Gaia. Hence the new generation tiga and dyna, trigger and decker. The legacy of tiga dyna and gaia was undeniably great, among other heisei ultras. I don’t think we’ll ever get the same genuineness of future ultras. All we can do is look back at the ones that have made our childhood what they are :)
