Not touched by nukes? You can visit the white house which is just a radioactive crater with some ghouls. There were some other things but I can't remember at this point. Did you mean the Mojave wasteland? That's the one where house shielded the city from nukes (mostly)
The Mojave is mostly untouched by nukes. Capital Wasteland was one of several targets that got heavy nuclear damage, the other areas being Boston, now known as the Commonwealth, Philadelphia, and New York City.
