Hello Nick great vid as ever, but not sure if anyone else has picked up on design fault on East stand right side as you look at it,they've missed a diamond pattern out,the rest are in twos that one is singular
great video as always. Looking forward to your stadium tour video, I hope you get a feel for how much more space (outside and inside) fans will have. I think we'll all be a bit overawed the first few visits!
Think they should put a little statue of Mr Drone somewhere, once complete, because of his excellent coverage , from the very start of this project, he has been fantastic
Great video as always. I think you forgot to mention the date, which you usually always include as a reference point that people can use at a later time. Thanks.
First off Nick hope your feeling better🙏 Great video as always, really good to see all the details coming in. What a fantastic view coming in the way you have, it's amazing to see the stadium from different angles. Looking Absolutely Awesome and Amazing. Can I ask a quick question, what's the tower you past on the right hand side of your video clip please Nick ?? Once again great video, plenty of honey and lemon 👏👍🙏👌⭐️
Victoria Clock Tower. Owned by Peel, not EFC. “Victoria Tower is a Grade II listed Gothic Revival clock tower located alongside Salisbury Dock in Liverpool, England. Positioned among the two river entrance gates to the Salisbury Dock itself, the tower acted as an aid to ships by providing both an accurate time and also warning of impending meteorological changes.”
Well done for getting this inserted in your busy schedule. I enjoyed the flight following the ferry and then taking the slip road off the Mersey motorway. I was wondering if you were going to pause around the Victorian Hexagonal Clock Tower as a stop off en route or in the retreat but, as BC1878 requests, you might do that another time.
Alright Nick, Is there any chance you could do a Video from where you where the other day at the new the Isle of Man terminal, to the new stadium on the walk way. You said there is plans to open up a walkway all the way to the stadium from the pier head. It would be interesting to see what it looks like so we can imagine what the walk will look like once all opened up and finished. Just an idea. Cheers for the vids mate. 👍🏻
@@misterdroneuk I'd second that, Nick. I know you have access to PEEL's Liverpool Waters plans as you used them once as an 'Explanation'. Maybe a little difficult to achieve but maybe you could run a split screen of the plans relevant to the drone camera location. It'd probably be much simpler to just insert images key PoI's from the plans.
Is the water channel going to match the width of the dock gates at either end? There are times where based on what they have dug out so far it looks like it may be narrower which would be visually odd
The water channel won’t be a uniform shape. Difficult to describe, but you can see for yourself if you search ‘stadium db final Everton design’ and then scroll all the way down to the high definition images (‘renderings’) from August 2020 👍🏻
Think that’s a bit mean to say the stadium is boring and is nothing like Anfield or Ibrox it has to fit in with the other red brick buildings along the waterfront to comply with the heritage people and the barrel, cladded and glass roof looks amazing it’s not in your face like the new Tottenham ground but I understand what you mean, but the stadium is like a work of art inside and out up the toffees
Liam: the terracing up to the First Level (mezzanine) will remain as concrete. The currently concrete 'benches' on the Lower Promenade are supposed to have a different finish but as the layout so far doesn't match the design plan they have clearly made some changes to the Lower Promenade.
One thing I’ve noticed about all those steps is no ramps for wheelchair access maybe they have to go underneath then a lift up then out onto the west mezzanine 🤷♂️
Yep. Wheelchair users can go into the tunnel under the west plaza terrace, through the door, up the lift, and then out through the door and onto the upper terrace.
Sutty: as Dunc states. As an aside, there are supposed to be some Accessibility ramps included in the layout of the Lower Promenade area for people to access the decking area next to the water channel (there will be a balustrade at the edge, of course). However, the layout of the concrete benches on the Lower Promenade is not following the design plan. Clearly they have made some changes there, which might also include material finishes. We shall have to wait and see what develops there.
Those open areas on the North and South Sands are going to be a haven for the flying rats. I can already see turf wars between the Seagulls and Pigeons.
Anyone else think our new stadium is a bit boring? It’s just a modern version of Anfield or Ibrox. Red brick etc. Look at the proposed new AS Roma stadium, looks amazing. I really want to like BMD but it’s just nothing new, it’s a bit bland.
Needed to have red brick incorporated in it, to fit in with the surrounding, and I think the old and the new mixed together is a lovely feature, it still looks spectacular to me.
It’s nothing like our old ground Anfield 😆 Not boring either. The plans for Roma’s stadium were published 7 years ago (3 years before BMD plans were approved). It’s just so complicated with all the archaeology and height restrictions (no buildings higher than the Vatican allowed). I can’t see that stadium being built for another few years, maybe decades. Our new owner will be diverting funds (and players) from Roma to EFC anyway.
@@tomoreilly9932 yeah I understand it had to be sympathetic to the area to get planning approved, but just a shame to me that we’re stuck with an old fashioned stadium for the next 100 years when this was our chance to build something innovative
Fantastic. Your stunned reaction standing at the back of the south stand told a thousand words.
All the videos you do are exceptional and its great to the work coming on week by week keep up the good work 👏
Loving the stadium, getting closer all the time, thanks for the vid as always, can't wait for the first kick off here. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From what I’ve heard, they won’t be able to take a vid when they visit the stadium in a couple of weeks. Photos only, unfortunately.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 ah phooey I was looking forward to that. Never mind eh, will have to try and get into one of the test events!

Thank you nick yes i have enjoyed your video. As always keep up the great work your doing hope your feeling better soon 💙⚽️
Great video as usual Nick. The stadium is looking good. Give that 2 or 3 seasons it will be the best stadium in the championship.

He'd have got it wrong anyway, right Nick 😁
Probably!! 😂🤦♂️

You should get a free season ticket for providing these ace updates.
cheers nick good work
Noticed your drone on CP overviews video at 6.40 minutes in haha
That wasn’t Mr D
No I was gone before CP went up. I was talking to him after I had finished mine and before he started.
@@misterdroneuk oh fair enough, just assumed it was you because came from the same area you were
Seen on another video at the bottom of the south stand you can see the dock wall running along the bottom (inside by the pitch of outside)

New Stadum, new players, new owners, new optimism. Fingers crossed for some forward momentum over the next couple of years. UTFT !

Not sure if this has been covered before but is anything going on the steps outside of the west stand or are they staying concrete?

is it my imagination or is the Dockers Clock now looking like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It looks like its going to fall in the Mersey 8:40

Hello Nick how's it going 👍
Did you say anything about Bigfoot nick .
What?
Get off the drugs..div
The water channel area the piled wall will that be meshed and infilled shotcrete/gunite system
Yes, they’ve already started doing that

Cold and Flu tablets help, Nick
