Classic chanel flap bags are just so classy, chic and timeless. I’m a minimalist when it comes to style but the bag is just a go to. You could wear it formally or casually. It just goes well with any outfit. It never goes out of style.
Hey em! When I shop for pre-owned bags I always make sure to get it authenticated on purseforums. The ladies on those forums really know their stuff and they are also really nice!

The double flaps were actually the original design of Gabrielle Chanel, not the signal flaps.
My Classic Flap that’s made before 1986 has double flaps.
Also please check into the history of Reissue bag, that model is a resemble of original 2.55 bag which has double flaps.
Double flap design came in 1955, single flaps came in much later.
Perhaps, a correction has to be made for this video.

I'm confused. I've seen older classic flap bags (given their serial numbers) on designer consignment websites that have a double flap. Are they not real?
Madeline Edwards This particular model comes in single flap. These bags are from the mid 90s. The double flap Jumbo was not introduced until the early 2000s.

Hi, is it normal in the inner flap there is no big stitch CC ? As I ve purchased 1 big CC caviar Jumbo size frm Ebay there is no big CC like ur bag & happened to see same as your bag.

Hi Em! I tried to look for the Jumbo XL / Maxi size Vintage Chanel Flap Bags with the flat CCs and gold hardware in Caviar also but they said that size and style doesn't come in Caviar. Can you tell me what size is the caviar one in this video? This is a vintage chanel as well right? who is your seller for the caviar one? I prefer it too because I don't like bags with a lot of maintenance

is this XL jumbo or regular jumbo? also i noticed that the little dent/mark on the interlocking C is sometimes on the top right and sometimes its on the top left... which one is authentic and did Chanel make alternating marking on the CC hardware?

I don’t believe that to be true. LV pieces also go up in prices over the years. Look at Neverfull, they used to be 800 some years ago...now they are almost double that. Yes Chanel pieces go up a bit more, but most of the luxury brands have price increases as time goes on. Nice video
They do depreciate a lot in the 2nd hand market. I have a 4 year old Tivoli GM in mint condition as I don't really wear it a lot. I was thinking of selling it but now I think I'm not going to anymore as Selling price are not that good.
