So inspirational! I sincerely believe that Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 (all three movements) is the most beautiful piano music ever written. Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and all of the other amazing composers have fantastic music. But to me, Rachmaninoff's music touches my heart the most out of all of the inspired composers.
Rach 2 is one of my favourites (even more than Rach 3...shock, horror!). I've heard it countless times, so my brain imagines the orchestra. Your solo renditions are fabulous and thank you for providing the sheets too. Probably beyond my capabilities, but I'll try.

I probably look pretty stupid applauding to my iPhone. Tonight the 2d movement piped up on my phone, and I thought, hey, I probably could learn that. Downloaded the sheet music. Then I listened to the first movement. And I thought, oh, I’d have to work pretty hard to learn that one. Moved on to the 3d movement. 🤦🏻♂️ Great arrangement.

While listening, it made me think of all the movies I've seen that have had classical music as part of the soundtrack, but I can't remember ever hearing this piece and I like to believe that it's because this piece is so rich and full and complete that this piece IS the movie.
