Mark Strehlow me too I would have accidentally knocked them over and probably broke them . This reminds me of of high school and helping the teacher unload the kiln and being jealous of how well everyone’s pieces turned out.

The pieces that don't work out, you can sell them to a mosaic artists. They can break them up and use them in a piece.

Instead of trashing the bowl you could use it as a decorative bowl for non food items like a place to put keys or change or other nick nacks . I think it would make for a nice room decor piece .

For Muddy Waters, you either need to REALLY load up on the crystals to get the good blues to come out. Or since it's base is Leather you can layer it with other glazes to get great effects. I personally love Honeycomb, Birch and Cordovan as potential glazes to use over it.

I love that Celedon Blue glaze!
Sometimes what’s awesome, more than the pots you make, are your reactions to them. I love it when an artist can sit back and be taken breathless by their own work.
These are some of your best works.

I like the warmth of the red iron oxide marbled mugs.
Medium to dark blue glazes are popular with the general public, but not so much with potters. I'm not a big fan either, but I buy it by the gallon for my classroom. whereas other glazes I buy by the pint, because the students like it.
In the "Mastering Cone 6 Glazes" book. one of the blue recipes is called "Kill It Before It Multiplies"...

It is possible that Lavender Mist ran due to where it was placed in the kiln. I tend to put my flowing glazes more towards the middle of the kiln, as opposed to near elements if I'm worried they are going to run too much.

I've used it in my electric, too but sell hesitantly due to the maturation being at cone 10. So, I did speak with Continental clay and their glaze guy said it can go to 10. It will be the most vitrified at 10, but some people don't care about the full maturation of the glaze as the ware seems to be durable enough at cone 7 or 8.
