Wow, only manga readers understand this feeling of having manga's that you read in the past get anime adaptations. For some it's nostalgia while for others it was only a matter of time.
Sounds like another my high school romantic comedy type with Hachiman and I already sat through 3 seasons of that.

@@HaydrogenBomb no its Carol Olston, the blonde girl at 0:35 she is a foreigner or half Japanese. I forget which one, but she’s one of two VAs that have done this. The other is from D4DJ, though I’ve never watched it or heard of it before.

The voice making the narration in the trailer supposedly is Carol's VA, which is set to voice both the Japanese and american version since she is japanese but raised in the states, I'm actually surprised that they are gonna play with Carol being bilingual

Being honest here but Nagatoro wasn’t that great, rent a girlfriend was just terrible, Kagura-Sama was average, Komi was average and dress up Darling was average.

Is it the same reason why you think Tomo-chan won't be great? Because they "aren't special"? If that's the case then that's really stupid. As that's REALLY subjective. What isn't special to one might be special to another, especially in an emotional way. Series like Komi, Kaguya-sama, Darling, and Tomo-Chan don't NEED anything special in them to be great. What really matters is how they handle their genres and settings well. Which makes me wonder if the reason you don't like them is because they just personally don't gel with you more then their actual quality. But that's just an assumption on my part. I'm not you so I can't really debate unless you explain more. Otherwise your comment is completely worthless.

It's weird the first time I saw this series from a TH-cam comic dub version and I thought it was like a one online comics like on Twitter or Webtoon and now it has it's own anime, funny how you first discover these things and where they end up.

I've never read the manga, but due to the basic plot from this trailer, I thought that the actress who would be voicing the main star tomboy would be either Brina Palencia, Erica Mendez, or Whitney Rodgers. However who ever this voice actress is, she sounds like that she has potential.

I just finished the manga last night. Honestly, it reminded me of the four years spent with my ex before we split during lockdown. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet experience that made me wish I had discovered it earlier. Anyway, I enjoyed it for its relatability and heart and I hope everyone enjoys the anime.
I know how you feel I was dying to tell my ex that this is coming out but yk that’s just how life be sometimes. Hope you still enjoy the anime and don’t let it ruin it there’s plenty more people out there.
@@Ryukotic Yeah Tomo acts, sounds, and looks just like her (even skin tone). We were also the same height and people would sometimes mistake her as a dude because of how she dresses and her upbringing. It’s funny, I started watching anime romcoms in 2021 and it’s crazy how they seem to reach out to me. I feel like they’ve been helping me understand my mistakes and improve my communication.

I believe Tomo is short for tomboy rough neck out going girls mostly can be sweet they end up being married to a nerd and being the best soccer moms or becoming the best lawyers...I hand a friend like her in school boy was she tough and sweet it just one of those things I like sharing....

The fact that she acts boyish more over even looks like a boy is why he treats her like a boy. But a girl is a girl whether she acts like one or a boy. The one thing that makes a girl a girl even if they act like a boy is the boy they have a crush on. But I like girls that act like boys especially due to the fact that they are strong. Most men should be liking strong women.
