Taeyeon said the overall theme of the album is "narcissist", so all the lyrics were purposely chosen to reflect that portrayal. Either the receiving end or the one inflicting. So you're right that this album has a message. Also, Fabulous was purposely put there, because she didn't want to end the album on such a depressing note and my oh my did it work!
Oh yeah that makes perfect sense. Like I said in the analysis segments, I felt like there was a very strong theme across most of the songs. And yes! She knew what she was doing, the last song was so different but if you watched the whole video you can tell I NEEDED that. She was making me so sad lol but that last one is fun and I can confirm it's awesome to blast with the bass up! Honestly I recorded this a while ago and I have been listening to this EP a ton. @ChainReactionsChannel If I'm not mistaken, it was her first ever solo show in North America. She came here to Vancouver for something called "The Albatross Festival" and I don't think the promoters had any idea she was that popular. She was originally supposed to be on about 2pm on the second day. But a week after she was announced as a performer, suddenly she was headlining the entire festival and ticket prices had gone up by 30 bucks. ( We have a very large Asian population here ) She still only performed her contracted 25 minute set, but I didn't care. It was the same as when Red Velvet was good enough to come here in 2019. When you're not sure if they're ever going to come back, you take the opportunity to see them. Couldn't wipe the stupid grin off my face for a week afterwards.
She has live clips, check out her TH-cam channel. Her full albums are way less depressing. I recommend Purpose, INVU, & My Voice for album Listens because she really takes you on a journey. She picks the songs, the order and the scent that goes with all the albums. I think being an introvert, she thinks deeply what she wants to give us fans. Burn it down and nightmare are my favorite for this album 😊

I'd say this was true until INVU came out. "Best" of course is subjective, but my personal favorite is her INVU album.
I was lucky enough to see Tayeon live in 2017.
