I have that. I was disappointed it was so small. And there's no way to turn the dial light off. Like if someone wants to sleep in the dark. It does have good sound for it's size. It has shortwave reception too. I understand how replacing the battery would be an issue. If mine went dead and wouldn't take a charge, I'd open it up, or do my best. If I ruin it, oh well. Couldn't use it if it wouldn't hold a charge. Except maybe leaving it connected to a charger all the time.

I have an analog,retro,old sw,mw,fm radio sony icf 704 s. My radio sony has short wave,thankfully,so i can listen to foreign radio stations,mostly from China,Turkey,Rumania,N.korea.I also can receive the Voice Of America in English on short wave from Washington,D.C.,in Belarus. The screws for the back cover are under the label. The battery is easily replaceable.
My guess is most will not bother to try to replace the battery.

This has FM/AM and SW. I think if you're really into shortwave you'd want something more dedicated to shortwave than this. But this is a fun radio.
