I bought the b650 based on this review. After tweaking some setting. The bass is really good. Rumbling and low. Fills my living room with sound.. no regrets at all. Thanks for your review Banter..👍👍
I bought this a few days ago, I haven't figured out all the features yet...Otherwise, in Serbia, the price range is from 200 to 280 euros.Thx for sharing expirience
Returned the b650 after 1 hour..chirpy, tin can sound and treble/bass adjustments changed nothing (not effective). No mids..same as the 700A we returned 3 years ago.
I read that many from start dont have good impresions but after some time n some setings automatic etc.. are very good. I dont know if i need to by some soundbar b550 or 650 or some other.. or some 2 speakers n amplifier (used so same price)
Thank you! If your looking for the Q Symphony feature (assuming you have a Samsung TV) then the Samsung HW-S700D or you could take a look at the Samsung - HW-B550D with very simial features.
Does two bluetooth devices mean you can connect two pairs of headphones and watch a movie as a couple with great sound and zero disturbance to the neighbours? I know it's a dumb idea and kind of beats the purpose of the soundbar but I don't want to let go of having this setup as an option.
Hey nothing dumb about this question or idea, I believe this soundbar BT Multi-Connection is for 2 devices is BT receiving (receiver mode), playing music from devices sending the audio to the soundbar*. You need BT transmitting sending audio from TV/Soundbar this can come from your TV if it has built-in BT but for just 1 device. For 2 devices (2 headphones) you may need a Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV from Amazon. Hope this helps.
@@davebanter Thanks! I already bought and discovered the exact thing you describe - you can only transmit sound to the speaker via Bluetooth, not from it. Still a great buy, I've had chills from the music and sounds while playing games several times now.
I like your reviews bro. Can you make a review on Logitech Z906? Do you think this system is the best option for tv and music, especially for a bass head like me? I don't know what to choose between a soundbar and Z906.
Hi Dave. Need help regarding of my recent purchase for HW550. Can i add wireless rear speakers for this Soundbar & which is compatible model please do suggest.
I didn't do to much eq on the soundbar while using Bluetooth because I normally do that from my phone but I thought the it sounded great using Bluetooth. I only use HDMI or Opt when connecting to my TV.
@@antoniomoore3498 My Philips tv has HDMI CEC, not ARC. Can I still connect this soundbar to my tv using the HDMI port? I want to use the tv remote to control the soundbar.
Hello Dave, I bought this soundbar and connected it to my Samsung TV but I have a problem; I can't hear sound from 3 channels at the same time on HDMI or Bluetooth. If I choose the standard setting, I hear sound from the two side speakers but no sound in the middle, if I choose adaptive, I hear sound only from the middle channel. If I choose surround, it comes from the middle but a scratchy low sound comes from the sides. Why can't I hear sound from 3 channels at the same time?? If there is no urgent help, I will have to return it :(
Hi there! It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating audio issues with your soundbar. I recommend checking the audio settings on both your TV and soundbar to ensure they're optimized for multi-channel output. Sometimes, a firmware update can also make a difference (look for this in the App). Let me know if you need more specific guidance!
@@davebanter I noticed something new while playing on my device. I noticed that some music tracks played on some satellite radio frequencies have sound coming from all 3 channels! But this does not happen on TV channels.
On the remote, i believe its the channel level button, that will open a menu to increase the center channel volume. (you'll probably see treble, bass etc in there as well)
@@drrbass9998 It wouldn't be too much of an upgrade, the major difference would be the 3.1 channel. Your voice/dialogue clarity would be better but is that alone worth spending the extra money?

What’s your setting for the bass? I’m buying this today !
Bass was trash maybe it was the song.
You don’t have to tweak anything just turn up the bass lol
Yup, this soundbar have a nice sound, and the price is reasonable too.
Love it.

What the difference for 650 and 660??
Good question, I looked into it and it seems like they are the same. Just the 650 is the USA version.

Samsung HW-B650 for me

For a small place B550 would be fine unless you don't really need the subwoofer and opt for the Samsung HW-C400.

Yes, this soundbar should work with your Hisense 4k smart TV.

Samsung Soundbar 3.1ch / 450W HW-B650/XA too much different from Sony HT S400 IN terms of bass?

I find the Sony soundbar systems to produce more bass than the Samsung soundbar system from my experience.
The bass is good?
It's okay but not it's strong point. Same subwoofer from the models below it, b550 and b450.
