The body came out great. I'm not sure why but the white looks great on the Typhon. I'm getting ready to paint my first body and it will be white and blue. Mostly white but it will have different decals than what comes with the Typhon 3s BLX. I hope mine comes out as nice as yours. I know you need to clean the body inside with soap but most people just use a rag or paper towel. I have seen a couple of videos where people use some fine scotch bright to scuff up the inside but I just wonder if you see any scratches in the final paint job?
I really like that It looks sweet ! I’ve been wanting to paint a new body for my outcast and I was thinking black with red high lights but now I like the white with red high lights .I never thought of that color it stands out nice!
Yeah I really like the color combination, I was down at the hobby shop looking at different bodies on different cars and for some reason the white and the The black was standing out to me so I decided to give it a try.

First off just line up old body on the inside and drill body holes. 2) Dont trim body 3) Dont use carb cleaner. Good ole dawn dish soap and water. 4) thin coats of paint. 10 min to flash paint then next coat. Coat to solid color. Thin spots. Look threw outside and cover them. 5) trim body out. Sand any sharp corners. Done stickerise the body and run it.
it came out nicely, i still havent painted a body XD the couple bodys i have different from the one that came with my rcs i just bought walmart rcs and ripped the bodys off to use lol
Do you know if the rc paint will stick to other rc stuff well? Just curious. Really enjoying the videos, learning a bit. Not whole lot of hands on videos out there. Keep up the great work an stay safe ^^
@@BarstoneRC yeah was just wondering if for example the little hub nut things that hold on the wheels would hold it. Had a buddy tell me about drywall joint tape an shoegoo can help reinforce or kinda fix the body's

About those ebay shocks....i have the same ones. Did you change out your rear springs? It looks different than the fronts.
I had these on there for a little bit but I had a lot of problems with them and took them off

Where did you get that clear typhoon body from, and that paint jobs looks great
I found it on eBay, and then went to my local hobby shop and got some white body paint
Looks great, always wanted to try a body myself. Looked simple enough.
Yeah it’s pretty easy, obviously if you get into a more elaborate paint job there’s a lot of masking involved but this was easy enough.

It’s The paint specifically made for RC bodies they’re like five dollars a can, you can order it on Amazon or at your local hobby shop

I’ve honestly never tried painting other parts with RC paint. But I wouldn’t see why it wouldn’t work?

Typhon 3s no question, it doesn’t overheat it’s easier to work on it jumps nicer it’s more controllable. And parts are cheaper.
