  • With the DentaFab Platform, clinics and dentist can print within few minutes temporary crowns teeth and implement it to the patient. In this video, you can see the whole process of creating temporary crowns and implementing it to a real patient.
    The process works as follows:
    1. 3D Scan the teeth of the patient that needs restoration
    2. Upload the scan data to the DentaFab web based platform
    3. The design of the teeth is handled either by the laboratory or the DentaFab technicians and the dentist is dowloading the temporary crowns ready to print
    4. The data is transfered to DentaFab 3D Printer and the print is made using the Temporary resin
    5. The temporary teeth are 3d printed and implemented to the patient.

Why is it called temporary? What makes 3D printing temporary and not permanent?

Pmma used as temporary material because it lacks strength and other dental properties....till date it is hard to print permanent restorations for dental...only temporary...but there is ongoing permanent Zirconia print companies trying to make zirconia print possible...but it is hard so that's why it has not been released yet

@@abdulmajeedal-hadeethi458 thank you for the response. I see that bego has a form of permanent resin for printing ceramic hybrids. Have you heard or used it by chance?

@@trinaija yeah heard of it.....and saw real results with it..but it is limited to fixed shades (A1 A2 A3)...and you have to use light cured stains and glazes since it is hybrid ceramics and cant put them in the furnace
