původný bylo jen asi 5cm výfuku hned za motorem, zbytek byla chromovaná výfuková trubka o úrůměru 6cm, která na konci přecházela do dvou koncovek o průměru 8cm. Nike se nenacházel žádný tlumič ani katalozátor.

Mam yamahu virago 250, co je v podstate to iste az na rozdiel par kw, mam vsak problem ze original zvuk je dost neatraktivny, pozeram rozne videa kde odstranuju tlmice vo vyfuku no nikde sa ten zvuk nepodoba zvuku vasej motorky. Mohli by ste mi prosim poradit co ste urobili/zmenili ze ste dosiahli takyto zvuk? Velmi by mi to pomohlo. Za odpoved vopred dakujem! :-)
Ahoj, už jsem ti tu párkrát psal. U motoru zůstalo jen pár cm původních svodu. Dále to je jen trubka zakončena dvěma "tlumiči" z motoobchodu. Straiflght pipe.

Chary Grim This is not a bike made for highway use. The top speed is about 65-70mph (115kmh) but the ideal cruising speed is about 50miles, without overreving the engine.
Are these the original exhaust? Will soon be having my own virago 125 so I want the same awesome sound :p what did you all change? was this expensive? is it reversable ( reverse exhaust to original state) and does this damage the engine?
Hi, check comments below. The exhaust are home made. No mufflers, just straight pipe from engine to the back. The first 5cm of the pipe is original, you need to keep it there, otherwise the engine would loose the backpresure. Also a air filter with bigger air flow was installed and the carburetor got bigger main jet and tuneup.
Does anyone know how much this bike cost? coz there is one a friend of mine is keeping it in the garage storing it for another owner but have plans to buy it, same exact bike so just wanna make sure i make a right price purchase, anyone?

karlek5 I don't think so. In Czech republic, modifying your bike or car is forbidden by law and this bike was completely modified. The only stock thing was the engine, front part of the frame and wheels. Technically, you needed to bribe the DMW guy in order to get registration for another 2 years. Basically, I sold it for a price of a good engine and legal documentation.

No it doesn't. Looks like 125/250 cc Virago engine, I have 535 Virago and that engine is far off from it. It IS Yamaha but it's converted to hardtail so it looks odd.

eddie machete I used different air filter with better air flow and also a bigger main jet. Then I was tuning the carburetor to get optimal power. Acording to the spark plugs, the mixture was just right.

Motorka pěkná, ale když ve městě slyším tyhle motorky, tak mě serou. Pořádnou kubaturu nedoženeš tím, že na výfuk prdneš laďák. Zní to spíš směšně, zbytečně hlasitě a akorát tím obtěžuješ okolí.

goblinfing When u have a 125 motorcycle with 2v, have one cylinder a capacity from 62,5. A one cylinder have better sound as a 2 cylinder. When u have a 2 cylinder and every cylinder have 125ccm, is that a 250ccm motorcycle. But i dont want to begin a conflict in the comments:) and sry again for my bad english
***** It was 125ccm bike, so each cylinder was 62ccm. The reason why sound of this bike was so great was because it was a v2. The cylinders are not firing at the same time but shortly after themselves. That is the reason why it sounds better than one cylinder 125ccm motor. That is the reason why it sound more like a bigger v2 engine. If the bike had straight 2, it would sound differently than v2. I hope that you can follow my explanation.

Bladsmith if you fiddle around with a 125 enough you end up getting those promises. Don't make a conclusion before development.

top speed was around 110kph. But ideal cruising speed is around 80-90kph. The carburetor had slightly bigger main jet.

Máš to napsaný v komentářích. Od motoru až po koncovku to byla jen trubka 4cm v průměru a na koncovky měly cca 6cm.

Spotřeba byla pod 3 litry. Na dlouhý trase se mi jednou povedlo jet za rovný 2l. Ale to byla spíš vyjímka. Jinak přes 3l sem se snad nikdy nedostal.
