    Goggles for downhill and winter (full face), glasses for enduro and summer imo. The winter fogging is a massive compromise tho, spot on vid mate👌🏽

      Cheers mate, yeah I suppose goggles being more robust makes sense when it comes to downhill. Thanks for your feedback it’s great to know what other people think.😁🤙

    Going to do my first Enduro race this summer. I think I'd rather have the Goggles just so they don't fall off and give that extra protection. I can also strap my Goggles to my pack on the climbs. Does that sound reasonable? I have some regular safety glasses for the shorter rides

      @muddymongoosemtb9873  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah definitely reasonable mate. I still use my goggles, they are definitely better suited to muddy and windy conditions. Ive never had any issues with the glasses falling off. But I have had issues with mud splatting up between my glasses and cheek hitting my eye. That wouldn’t have happened with goggles. I just find them more convenient for normal trail conditions, once they’re on I just keep them on but with my goggles I only like wearing them when I’m actually riding a trail once I’ve stopped or am climbing I always want to take them off my face. Plus mine fog up quite a bit which I find annoying. It’s just my personal preference, both are good. Good luck with your race mate.👍🤙🤙🤙😁

    Goggles in the winter and muddy days rubbing a bit of washing up liquid on the in side clean it off helps with them steaming up

    If you take your goggles off, dangle them on the back of your neck. Don't fog up! And buy some anti fog spray

    came here because I can't nose breath with the goggles pushing on my nose, maybe I'll try glasses

      I know what you mean. Glasses are really good but I do still use my goggles if it's really windy or if it's really muddy as I have had mud get in my eye under the glasses.🤣🤣🤙🤙🤙

    As I wear glasses anyway, I was thinking of opting for a prescription pear of the chromatic glasses, have never seen prescription goggles but think you can get a prescription insert but not keen on that, food for thought and thanks for sharing Donald! 😎🚵‍♂️🤙

      Cheers Gary. Yeah I got my glasses from a website called RX Sports and I think you can get prescription glasses on there...don’t know about prescription goggles though. 😁🤙🤙🤙

      Aye I use old military goggles that have an insert for glasses, so you can wear your glasses under the goggles

      I never considered what it must be like if you are wearing contact lenses, sounds like goggles are the sensible choice for you mate. It can be scary enough going down trails as it is without suddenly doing it half blind!!!😳🤪🤣🤙🤙🤙

      I’m the same, I do like my goggles and I’ve used them loads but the fogging up is really frustrating. Think I’m going to stick to the glasses unless it’s really windy. 😁🤙cheers mate😁

      @@muddymongoosemtb9873 The glasses I use are actually Bolle safety glasses that I bought from Screwfix for 12 quid. They are high impact, scratch proof, have changeable clear and tinted lenses, vented padding around the lenses and a safety band that secures them around your head. They look good too; absolute bargain!!
