I use a wet palette but I mainly paint models, I recently painted a record in acrylic it's good to have a wet palette if you're going to be coming back and forth to the project
Stunning work! One thing you can do to preserve your sketch is cover it in a layer of matte medium before you paint background - that'll isolate it so it's less likely to get lost
Beautiful drawing and cool colors used! I do have a tip for next time. To create your drawing within your frame. The list now partly exceeds it 🤘🏻 Till the next one
It takes a little more work, but after transferring my image I go over it again with a liner/round brush and acrylic to fix the drawing into place. Keep those paintings coming!
@@Woak.1I also recommend probably trying another color for the transfer. I love the blue and red option that Saral has because it tends to transfer and read a little better. I also spay a fixative on top, after the transfer, as it prevents the image from disappearing or smudging. Great video btw
@@Woak.1 exactly! Btw, man, my girl and I are both artist, do graff characters by the train tracks here and there…In December, we would watch your videos with a cup of coffee to get us ready for the day. Thanks for that!
New subscriber. Awesome art❤ Would love to see what you can do with goache. Your blending process suits that medium really nicely and you dont have to use a wet palette as it reactivates. Would love to see more thrifted art as well.
Thanks so much, I tried using goache years ago for a college class and I remember not liking them because they seemed so chalky and not as smooth when it was dry but maybe I could give them another try
Awesome. But next time take in to account the amount of space the frame is going to take out. You probably noticed yourself. Good luck with your channel. I will sub now.
Great piece but why wouldn't you remove the two unused sawtooth hangers on the back. Those are going to cause the piece to not be flush to the wall on both sides.
Thanks for your inspiring, easy to follow tutorials and awesome vibes! Been in a four year "artist's block" mental funk and I'm trying to pick up my paints & brushes again so I can make a successful effort turning my hobby into my main hustle! Thank you so much, and liked & subscribed!
Your prep work is goals AF lol. This has to be one of my favorite joints so far. Thrift store bangers are so fun!!! Great find and painting!!
Heck yeah, thanks man I’m hoping to do more soon!

Like how you say you are no master, then you paint something or spray something so AMAZING looking!!
Haha thank you! I’m really not that experienced with acrylics but I used to oil paint a lot in college

@@T0FOO thanks so much! And awesome advice too, most of my backgrounds are cool tones so the red would probably be great

They’re hammered in and I was worried it would crack the frame if I tried to pry them out
