actually there is, in the manga. Rin's prettier in the manga too. For me the funniest part was when Sesshomaru asked Miruko how to sleep with women. That was funny that even Sango was fully shocked she hit Miruko in the head.
I love four of them. How sesshomaru always come for rin, jaken try to protect rin, and aun always with jaken and rin. They have sweet relationship. 3 demons and one human girl.

Perfect song for them! Having Rin in his life matured Sesshomaru in the ways that his dad always hoped would happen....a way better love story than Kagome and Inuyasha, which is very dysfunctional much of the time.
Well I have to agree but Inuyasha he in love with kagoma and he wants to protect her to keep her safe when he went full fledge finally it was kagoma who snapped him out and still loved him for him he could not live without her but he didn't want to put her in harms way but when she came back to him he knew she wanted him as bad as he wanted her I feel like I am kagoma at times and my bf is Inuyasha but at times it's me who saves him and stays by his side

Verdade
Sesshoumaru started off as such an emotionally immature cruel and self centered aristocrat. Reminded me very much like spoiled teenage son of an CEO. His character was created to be the demon equivalent of an immature teenager and it was done very well. Rin brought kindness and (platonic at the time) love into his life. The troupe of teenage boy meeting young girl, and 8-10 years later they met up again and fall in love is more common than people think: "memoirs of an Geisha", "Dororo", (pirates of the Caribbean sort of - Elizabeth was engaged to James Norrington, and they met originally when Elizabeth was an girl and he was teenager -opening scene of the movie).
I disagree for the last part. Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship was not "dysfunctional", it was a beautiful written love story as much as Sesshomaru and Rin's.
*Yes, Sesshomaru matured and became more open-minded about humans and he finally learned to love, or at least to protect the one he cares about (even tho he wouldn't admit it), it's a great story, I really liked it.
*But Inuyasha showed how hard it is to be torn between different feelings. It's when you are unable to decide what to do because you have different feelings or different things that you want. And it was very well done here.
Inuyasha loved Kagome but he couldn't turn off his feelings for Kikyo (also their past was tragic and he couldn't move on). Kagome understood that, she sometimes lacked self-confidence, was jealous and felt less important than Kikyo, but she could see that there was really something between Inuyasha and her. She never gave up and waited patiently for him to move on.
=> That is why I can not agree with you when you say "dysfunctional". Either you couldn't understand those feelings at the time you watched the anime/read the manga, or you don't know what is normal or not, because here everything made sense in the characters' actions. Maybe you just don't like those kind of love stories with complex feelings...
This really the relationship I have dreamed about every night :( a love story between a monster and a young human girl ಥ‿ಥ

@@KagomeYasha023 I think Sesshomaru had feelings for Rin at first, even though they weren't romantic feelings. You're right that those romantic feelings may have arisen since Rin became an adult. However, I think Sesshomaru always pays attention to Rin from what I've seen in Anime. I thought for Sesshomaru, who has a cold personality who wouldn't care about anyone, but he keeps Rin by his side and makes sure Rin does whatever she likes. So, I think Rin was an important human to Sesshomaru for a long time.

@@christiangalvan4099 yeah, i did. I was referring to how he felt about her as an 8 year old child, and not referring to how that may have changed as she became an adult. He was very clearly set up to be her adoptive parental guardian in the original show, and not a romantic love interest, and while I can get behind the ship happening later down the road, the implications of Grooming are pretty strong when all they used were clips of them with her as a small child and not from the sequel as an adult.
My acceptance of the canon in the sequel is based on giving sesshomaru the benefit of doubt that he never even considered her a viable romantic or sexual partner at least not until she grew up and was able to make her own decisions and give enthusiastic consent

Sesshomaru literally raised rin to be his future wife. Since he's a full fledge demon and rin is a mortal, he probably knew that he never gets old but rin will get older that's why he set his life to be with rin until she gets to be an adult. He planned this from the very beginning for sure, to make rin his wife. What a lovely couple.

Omly aft r she grew up she pursued him.
I don't think he thought that until he lost her the second time. The way they look at each other when Sesshomaru's Mother revives her. Is a completely new emotion for both of them. After that Sesshomaru could not live without her. Part of me also thinks that he sees saving Rin as a way to fight even the Gods. It seems like fate itself wants to kill Rin at times.

They didn't. They are canon. In the sequel Anime Yashahime Sesshomaru and Rin are married and have twin daughters and their daughters are the main characters of that show.

I wanna watch this anime ik what it’s called I just don’t know anything else about it
It's called Inuyasha came out in 2000 (193 ep I think and few movies trust me it's worth watching) after that you have Yashahime series about kids of the characters from this show it came out this year there are 13 eps for now. The main plot is about a half(dog) demon named inuyasha his brother Sesshomaru who is a real demon (they have different mom's Inuyashas mom is a human) and a girl kagome that on her birthday ends up being pulled in the well which leads her to the feudal era of Japan where she meets Inuyasha and everyone confuses her for Kikyo Inuyashas first love and later we meet few other character while helping them in defeating the evil demons in order to collect pieces of a magical jewl that evil demons are trying to get for themselves there is a lot of comedy romance adventure time travel there will be eps in modernera and feudal era as well it's a great show watched it in 2013 still loving it
