I have been through a time of physical and emotional suffering for the last three years. It has resulted in more time available for scripture study and prayer, but there are still days when I get on a self pity party. I would like to learn how to quickly get past the pity party. I’ve found that quoting memorized scripture helps tremendously. Anyway, if you read this Pastor Colin, thanks for your teaching as it has helped me on more than one occasion. Thank you for this perfect message. It spoke volumes to me as I have been struggling mightily since the suicide death of my precious husband 6 months ago and now the suicide of our 13 yo grandson. It’s all beyond difficult to process but my faith, though sorely tested, is still intact and I have learned to lean on our Lord like never before. ❤
