Cheers Shane...yeah I'm getting nothing like that...struggling to get 60mpg with less than 25k miles on clock.. wondering if it is due to 17 inch wheels rather than 16...ATB Kenny.
Overalll is this version better than the previous one as I’m looking to get a civic but ideally would be more inclined to go for the more economical version…
At what kind of driving do you get 58.9 mpg? Mixed? So what would you get on motorway? Or what only in town? Just considering buying this car but not sure if there is any advantage over 2.0 tdi. Thanks. Cormarty - Nice place to live....
Hi, I'm getting appx 55/60mpg combined, about 45/50 in town and 60-64 mpg on dual carriageway/motorway. I was getting way better with the previous civic 1.6 Dtec 2016 model. I'm not a heavy footed driver. I've been in touch with Honda as to why I am not able to get the MPG they quoted...but they just said that there are too many variables which affect mpg...Hope this reply helps..Cheers Kenny
Thx for this video
I used to get 75 mpg at a constant 70 mph in the 2014 previous model..

@@scottishkennyg couldn’t tell you buddy, I actually sold my 9th edition civic and I’m actually thinking of buying an 10th EX plus diesel model myself
Shane was that a 1.6 diesel you had or was it a 2
@@raptorpome2577 it was yes.
I'm looking to buy one of those, did you get many issues with it? Was the performance good? And was it fun to drive or rather on the relaxed side?
I’m averaging 63mpg in a daily driver, long journeys 70+ easy
Most economical car I’ve ever owned
Cheers Stevie, I'm still only getting average 55-58 mpg. Must be my bad driving..ATB Kenny

@@MM-pb1se only the mk 9 and 10 have the 1.6idtec engine. It’s a fantastic engine. No dramas at all in 37k miles

I am getting 55 mpg mixed from a stage 1 2.2 idtec,so not worth changing the car😉
Nice Car 👍
